Jack was acting so strange. It all started about 2 weeks ago. Dan (Sexbang, not Howell) moved into the small, country-style home right before it started happening. He invited Jack and I to a housewarming party. While I was discussing some meaningless topic with Arin and Suzy, Jack slipped away. Ever since then, he's been going over to Dan's house every night. Jack tells me Dan's having troubles with insomnia, so he's making sure he's falling asleep. Bullshit. I'm determined to find out what's going on. I wake up to Jack's lips on the nape of my neck, his legs curled around my waist. As tricky as he can be, he's still basically a child. Which is kind of pervy, considering all we've done. I turn over and kiss him. He's the first one to break it. He gets up immediately after and takes a cold shower. I can tell it was cold because I get into the bathroom and find no steam. I, personally, take a scalding shower. I walk past the study and hear Jack recording. I peek in and see he's playing the final episode of Kites Over The World. I sneak up behind him and scare him while one of the characters is mid-soliloquy. I think it was Bennett, but I've only seen 10 minutes of gameplay. I can't stand story-driven games. I shut the door to the study and put some music on in the kitchen. I look at the clock, 12:07, and make myself a sandwich. Once Jack finishes his recording and gets on his laptop, taking his usual earthworm position on the living room couch, I get in and record more Mortal Kombat XI. I also start on this new fan made game. I start editing in a gold and red easy chair by a big window overlooking a metric fuck-ton of woods. We both idly watch TV, not speaking. Things have become isolated since 2 weeks and a day ago. Soon, it's 8:00. Jack takes a look at his phone. He gets up.
"Dan needs me." He tells me.
"Ok. Love you." I tell him. Once he's out of the house for 15 minutes, I get up and cross to Daniel's house. I feel the raw anger and infuriation swell inside me before I even see them.
