Holy fucking shit, he was even cuter in person. Jack had very obviously either just been in a fight with a bunny, or he had just woken up from a nap. A light gray university sweatshirt hung from his small form, with slightly-too-long arms and him looking pant-less. His orange and brown hair was disheveled and wild, sticking out at random places. He was holding a mug of what I assumed to be peppermint tea, judging by the aroma and Jack's preferences (besides men of course. I'm hilarious). He had dark rings under his eyes, and I know he barely sleeps. Sometimes, I wish he'd take more care of himself. But I understand bouncing back is hard. Doctors were amazed at how well I'd done, but I was lucky. I know Jack's trying. I think I might've accidentally triggered something, but I know certain ways to calm him down. Jack smells like peppermint and overheated computer. His flat smells like gingerbread with a slight undertone of fast food. I'm sitting next to him on his couch, and in my mind I'm thinking of this tumblr post I once saw. It read:
"Jacksepticeye's collar bones
Like if you agree."
I would push the like button so fucking hard right now. I snuck a look at the clock behind Jack, and I realized it's almost 6:00. I should've checked in an hour ago! My eyes go wide.
"Oh fuck!" I shout, accidentally interrupting Jack.
"Wh-what is it, Mark?" Jack asked, startled by my sudden outburst.
"I should have checked into my hotel an hour ago. I must've lost track of time..." I said.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" Jack answered. We stayed silent for a bit, then Jack seemed to get an idea. "Oh! How about you stay here tonight!" Jack gave me a warm smile.
"I-I mean, I wouldn't want to impose," I say, trying to hint to ask again, because I worried saying 'yes' right away would be weird.
"No, really! It'll be fun!" He says. I don't have real shows until the day after tomorrow, because I planned on spending one day with Jack.
"Okay." I say.
"Okay. I'll take the couch tonight." Jack says. I immediately oppose.
"No, it's fine, you don't have to!" I say.
"Mark, really. It's only one night. It's fine." Jack replies.
I take a bit longer to reply.
"Okay."
