Changbin was finally able to train with the others again since his wound had healed, thanks to Felix's continued efforts. He could now train as hard as them.
Currently, Changbin was using his strength to break out of Seungmin's ice, which had frozen him in place. With a swift movement of his arms, he punched right through the ice, shattering it into pieces.
"You do this so easily," Seungmin huffed. "I don't like training with you."
"Hey," Changbin chuckled. "I'll go easy on you, don't worry."
"Sure," Seungmin scoffed, as he prepared himself for Changbin's attack.
Right as Changbin was about to throw a punch, Captain Lee entered the training area.
"Gather around, everyone," she said, calling everyone together.
"Today's the last day of the seven-day training session," she spoke. "I hope all of you are prepared for Wednesday. "
"We are," Chan spoke on behalf of everyone.
"Good," Captain Lee said, a proud smile gracing her face. "Because it will be your last mission."
Everyone gave each other confused looks. What did she mean by that? Their last mission?
"Our last mission?" Changbin asked.
"Yes," Captain Lee continued. "You'll be required to capture them, dead or alive."
"Wait, wait, wait," Chan argued. "We've just started. How do you expect us to catch these dangerous criminals on only our third try? You all must be insane."
"Chan," Captain Lee said. "There's something you should understand. You don't make the rules around here. You're just here to follow instructions, as given in your contract."
"What if we can't?" Jisung asked nervously. "Capture them, I mean."
"Then we have planned to send all of you to Norway for however long it takes for you lot to be prepared," Captain Lee said.
Everyone looked at her in disbelief. What in the world were these consequences?!
"This wasn't in the contract!" Hyunjin exclaimed. "We never agreed to this!"
"But you did agree to staying until the villains are defeated," Captain Lee retaliated. "That, of course, is definitely written in your contracts."
"But.... but," Seungmin muttered. "What about our jobs? Our families?"
"They will not be informed of your doings and whereabouts," Captain Lee answered. "In other words, you will remain nonexistent. We'll take care of that."
"There has to be another way!" Felix exclaimed.
"There isn't," Captain Lee concluded. "You are dismissed for today. Get some sleep; you need to be awake early tomorrow."
