  Destiny POV

"You must be Destiny." I'm currently being interview by I hope my new boss. He's doesn't sound like the guy on phone, he sounds cheery. He's tall and buff. He's also looks older.

"Yes I am." I reply. I made sure I put on a black shirt, because I really need this job.

"Okay follow me to my office." He starts walking and I follow. While walking I look around the bar, there many people here and it's lively. The interior here has a old rustic type of feeling in it.

Wooden floors, furniture, and walls. No wonder people come here.

I see a bartender behind the bar. He has black hair and eyebrow piercing. His eyes went directly at me and I was staring at him.

"That must be the new girl." I quickly look away. I'm hearing thoughts again. Why does this always happen at the wrong time, I let out a sigh.

We are at the owners office and he opens the door for me. I thank him and I get inside. I go sit on the chair that is in front of the desk.

He goes behind the desk. "Let get started. In your resume, it says you have 3 years of experience of being a waitress. Have you waited bars?"

"Yes I have. I work in a bar in my first year, so I know a lot about drinks." He simply nods.

"Do you have any experience with making drinks." No I do not. I can't make a drink for the life of me, but I need this job.

"Yes I do, while working in that job. The bartender taught me how to make a couple of drinks." That lie sounds good enough.

He purse his lips and up from my resume, to look at me. "Let me be honest with you. The pay is really not that good, but I protect my employees. So if you don't mind that, you're hired."

I raise my brows, I really got hired like that. Honestly has long as the pay is enough to pay my bills I'm good.

"I would like to work here." He smiles and he raises his hand and I take. We shake hands, "Work start at Monday 4-12." I nod my head and leave the office. I take on more look at the bar, I will be working here.

I leave the building and start walking to my bike. I feel my phone vibrate, it's probably the internet guy. I pull out my phone, but I hit something hard and defined. I look up to see what I bump into.

But it wasn't a what it was a who. He's tall, with long dark brown hair, and bronze skin. I see his face and it's really defined. A sharp jawline, a sharp nose, and a scar that goes from the top of his forehead and down to his right eye. Good lord he is a attractive.

I was at a lost of words, I don't know what came over me. My mind just went blank and just drooling over this man. I don't know what his name is but he's fine.

He look back at me. He has a confused but conflict look on his face. But it flash to annoyed one. I quickly move my hands from his chest and back away from him.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." He narrows his eyes at me, I couldn't help but notice his honey brown eyes. Why is everything about this man so attractive.

"You should look where you're going ." He stares harshly. I clear my throat, and run to my bike. I hop on it and start peddling.

Oh my god that was embarrassing. I hope I never that man ever again.

-

I lay my body flat on the sofa, and let out a humorless laugh. Of course life was doing too well for me. Something bad has to happen to me.

I sit up and pull out my phone. I'm glad it's not broken. I call back the internet guy and tell him where to put the box at.

I finish my call, one thing is now down on the fixes of the house. I hear my stomach growl, to the fridge I go.

I walk to the kitchen and open the fridge, I pull out some fruits and put them on the cutting board. I cut them up and put them all in a bowl.

I take a spoon and start to dig in. I finish it pretty fast. Damn was I really that hungry. I go clean the bowl and head to my room.

I lay of the bed and my mind wonders. It was a real coincidence that the time my ability start showing, my grandma passed away. And now I'm back in this town, with ability I don't know how to control.

I let out a laugh, life sucks. This thing I have is so confusing. It always goes in and out. When I try to do it doesn't work but the times that I don't use it, it works.

I shut my eyes. The only person who could have taught me is not here with me. I frown, if only my grandma were here. She would have help me.

I turn on my side, and the water works start. I thought I was done grieving but I'm not. Will I ever be?
