    Destiny POV

I feel the sunlight on my face as I open my eyes, I groan and slowly sit up from my bed. I rub my eyes and turn to to window. I close it and get up from from the bed.

I take my phone from the table, to look at the time. It's 8:40, and my stomach growls. I'm so hungry,but it's not my fault that money is tight right now. But I really need to go grocery shopping and fixing up the house.

A long day ahead of me, I stretch my arms out and after I look through the suitcase to look for a dress. I pick out a lilac one with lace trims.

I head to the bathroom and take a shower. I get dress and I put my hair in a puff leave out two strands of hair in the front. I take my bag and put all my important things in.

I take one last look at the mirror and like my appearance. I leave the house and walk to the side of it, to get my grandma's old bike. I hope it still works after all these years.

I get on it and start peddling, yay it still works. I bike and I notice the scenery around me. I always forget that grandma lives far away from people, it always made me confuse as a kid. Because the shows I was watching kids, people would always hang out with kids in the neighborhood but since I didn't have kids around me, it was basically her and I.

To really think about it, before I was taken from my grandma I didn't really meet a kid around my age. Wait no, there was this one kid. Damn I forgot his name but I remember he would always be in the woods.

I met him a couple times, the first time we met he was hurt and I pretended I was a doctor to help him. And afterwords we would hang out. Every time he came to the woods near my house, until one day he didn't come back.

To thing about he was the first friend I ever had. I know it's unrealistic but imagine if I met him again. I laugh, what a stupid thought. I keep biking, this town is full of woods and plains, it looks beautiful,

I start see houses, parks, and shops. This must be close to the town square. I start to see it and my eyes widen.

I see people with booms, people with green skin , people who are short, and people who are walking around headless. It has been a long time since I seen people like this, I'm in awe.

I quickly snap out of it and bike to the nearest bike rack. I get of it and chain it to the rack. I look around the, to see all the stores. I see many stores and they are unique per say. Like one is about selling potions, it's named Lvy's potions.

I start walking around and just looking for things I need. It's kind of overwhelming but I need to put my foot forward.

I look around and see on that seem normal-ish. I head inside and I see the cashier. He is on his phone and didn't bother to greet me. I shrug because I get, it looks like a dollar tree.

I pick up the basket and start looking through the isles. I pick up a few toiletries and a pack of batteries. I continue to look around but their nothing else I need.

I finish with my little search and head towards the cashier. I give him my items and he scan them, he gives me the total and I pay.

I leave the store, it wasn't bad. I simile a little and continue my search for a grocery store. I walk and I continue to walk. I bite my internal cheek, I'm so confused. I decide to walk back to my bike, this embarrassing.

I can't find a grocery store for the life of me, I sigh. "Do you need any help." I hear a voice and I raise my head to follow it. I see woman, she have light brown skin, a short brown afro with blonde tips, and she's is relatively skinny.

I stare at her and nod. "Yes, I'm trying to find a grocery store." I reply.  She smiles, "A grocery store? There's one next to the store and another one there. There is so many." She points to the stores and I bit my lip, god this is embarrassing.

She raise a brow at me. "Are you new around here?"

"You can tell?"

"Yes, you look really lost." She laughs.

"Well, technically I'm not new."

"Oh really? Why are you back and if I'm not being to nosy how are you back? Because it's really hard for people to come into Rivenfield."

"I'm mostly back because my grandma. She recently pass away and her will stated that I inherited her house." I simply state. I don't want to answer the second question, because I'm not really sure myself.

"Sorry for your loss." I think she notices and decides not to press on it.

"Thank you." I smile softly.

"I should let you go back to your shopping. If you ever feel like meeting me again, my name Lvy and my shop is well Lvy's potion. I'm open Monday-Friday." She wave me goodbye and I wave back.

I walk to the first store she pointed at. As soon that I walk inside the smell of fish attack my senses. I scan around the store, and I just mostly see fish. Yeah this is not for me, I leave the store and go to the other one.

I head inside and see this one is normal. I get a cart and start walking through the aisles. I get the essentials like, cereal, fruits, and snacks. I also get some feminine products.

While in the aisle, I see a tall woman. She's wearing a long black dress that accentuates her figure. She's gorgeous.

She looks up from the product and she starts walking to the next aisle, I notice she has a parasol in her hand.

I continue my shopping until I'm finished getting all my things. I go to check out and I get my items ring. I pay and leave the store. I really need a job, because at this rate I'm about to be broke.

I walk back to the bike rack, I put my items in the basket that was in front of the bike. I get on my bike and start heading back home.

I'm back to the cottage and I put my bike back to the side of the house. I get the items and head inside.

The heat inside of the house hits me. It's really hot in here. I put my things down in the kitchen and I walk to the living to open a window.

The breeze outside starts coming inside here. I went back to the kitchen and unpack the items.

Damn I need some wood for the stove, I hiss my teeth. I'll try to get some later, I'm finish unpacking and I get the batteries.

I get back to the living room and put the new batteries in the remote. I press the power button and the tv turns on. Yeah it still works, now let watch something.

I reach to the table that was holding the tv. I open the drawer and see the dvds that were there. I remember some of these, I pick out one that look interesting and put it in.

I quickly sit on the sofa, and the movie starts. A wave of nostalgia hits me, I remember this movie it was one of my favorites.

I smile at myself, it is just how I remember it. I hear my phone vibrate, I look at the sofa and grab my phone. Some one is calling me, the number looks familiar. Oh sh!t it's the job I applied in, I answer the call.

"Good Afternoon, is this Destiny Wright?" The the person ask. The voice sounds monotone.

"Yes this is her." I answer back.

"This is crow's bar. We look at your application and like it. The interview is on Friday at 3."

"Is there a uniform, or a dress code?"

"Wear a black shirt." I take a note of that.

The phone call ends and I jump for joy. I'm getting a job! I'm not going to be broke anymore.
