Destiny POV

I open my eyes, and what surrounds me was unfamiliar. I quickly sit up from the bed to see a bedroom that was not mine. And the dime natural sunlight was not peaking through.

Where the hell was I. "You're still in Silas house." I hear a voice say. But it was not spoken, it was in my head?

"Because it was." I turn to the voice to see Vincent sitting on a rocking chair. He has a book in his hands, but he stare at me. One thing I notice is that he has rounded glasses on. That was the color black on the glass part, that cause it to cover his eyes.

I frown my brows at his response, is he able to read my thoughts. He starts to chuckle and I continue to stare at him blankly. Trying to hear his thoughts to get one over him.

She's really is captivating.

My eyes widen at his comment. I clear my throat, "T-thank you for your compliment." I try to say without stammering, but failed.

He pause his reading before closing that book. He look up from it to me, he tilts his head slightly. "I see that you're able to read people minds also. You're truly a unique neutral."

That remark cause me to look at him in confusion, he sense my confusion then begin to speak. "Only vampires have the ability to hear thoughts, but here you are. A non-vampire listening to me, may I ask what are you?"

"I'm a Hyacinth." The expression on his face, turn to one of question. "I never heard of that before, can you explain it for me?"

I look away shyly."I discover it recently, but it seems like I'm the only one of my kind left. We are called that because, well the purple light we emit." He continues to stare in interest, while I explain the abilities of my species.

"That is really remarkable. You just now learning about it? How come your parents didn't teach you?"

"Um, because they're dead." I said with a straight face and he turn his head away from me. " Please accept my condolences."

"Thank you." I simply said. He continues to look away from, and open his book to read. I start to get up from the bed, I was able to stand without a problem.

I begin to walk, but my legs shakes. "What the hell?" I mutter to myself.

I feel pressure on my back, and I turn to Vincent behind me. "You don't have t-" He silence me by picking me up and holding. "Where would you like to go." He asks me, and I stare at him. His fangs seem really sharp, but I push that thought.

"Take me to Silas."

"As you wish." He starts walking, and his grip on me is so gentle. And his hands were surprisingly soft, with the sense of strength in them too. Why am I even thinking about that, I focus on the task at hand.

I spot a kitchen, and Vincent walks to it. Silas was sitting and have an energy drink in his hand. He also has his phone out.

It seems like he were texting but now his gaze were on Vincent and I. I notice a lingering stare on Vincent before going to me. "How are you?"

The question cause me to look at my leg, and I begin to try to move it. It moves, "It looks like I'm doing alright."

I look up to Vincent. "You can put me down now." His face was looking down at me, it made me feel small for some reason. He then slowly put me down, I was able to stand still.

I move my leg one and the pressure of it feel light but manageable. I walk  in a slow pace then sit on the chair. The softness of it eases the pain a bit, and continue my gaze on Silas. "What time is it?"

"It's 6:45, so you were out for a couple of hours." He respond. He then get up from the chair and went yo get something from the fridge. I'm his hand, he grabs an energy drink and walk to me.
