David x Reader (Camp Camp)

Chemistry

"What?!" David said.
"Y-you don't have to answer now! I was just wondering-" I was saying before getting cut off.
"Of course, y/n...!" He proclaimed while smiling heavily.
"I thought you would never ask."
Suddenly I get pulled in close to him, as he holds my face I look into his. "You're so pretty I could just kiss you." David said, only for me to follow up with "Do it then".
He looked shocked and hesitant, "...really?".
David slowly leaned in, leaving his lips against yours. His soft yet firm hands started moving their way down to your hips.
You had no idea what to do with your body so you placed your arms on his shoulders.
"So... we are alone right now... just to let you know." I say to David, hopeful that he understands.
"Oh, I know." He said, softly.
I slowly step back and take my arms off of him. I wave my hand in front of him and he takes it with his. Together I move both of us to his already made bed and sit down. Once he decided to sit as well, I move over to sit on his lap. With his back and head against the wall, I was completely on the bed and him. This time David takes me into a long kiss, everything melts away until we hear a banging at the door.
"DAVIDDD!! I NEED YOU." Screamed Nikki.
We both made eye contact and immediately got up.
"Hold on Nikki, I'll be righttt out-"
As David opens the door he sees a passed out Space Kid.
"What happened?! All of you should be asleep right now!" David said, worried for whatever happened.
"Neil was testing his new experiment late tonight and decided to try it on Space Kid, but now he's passed out!" Nikki explained, slightly yelling.
I wiped my eyes and decided to come closer.
"Oh hi new lady, can you help??"
"I can try..." I say, then started getting led to Neils tent.
Walking there, I held Space Kid instead of him getting dragged across the grass by Nikki again. His cardboard abs had grass stains all over them, and sap was all around his helmet.
Once we were almost there, I started to hear snoring.
Space Kid suddenly woke up and fell back on the floor.
"What?! Why am I over here?!" Muffle yelled the space obsessed kid.
"You're okay?!" Nikki replied.
"Of course! After I was hanging out with you and Neil doing the science stuff, I went to lay down outside!" Space kid said, clearly confused.
"So... you're fine? Just tired?" I said to him.
"Yeah! Guess so!" He replied to me.
"Next time, sleep in your tent... also... Neil, stop testing on Space Kid." After yelling to a probably asleep Neil, I pat Nikki's head and go back to the cabin.
"So where were-" I walk back in to see a sleeping David, murmuring.
I move the piece of wood he's holding and bring myself to lay with him in the twin bed.
I smile and stroke his cheek, "Good night" I whisper.
I see him smile back in his deep sleep, and I fall asleep soon after.
