NAVIA
I contemplated walking away, going back to dinner with my father and pretending none of this happened.
But the moment i spun around to face him, i decided to stick around a little while longer just to see where this was headed.
He looked even finer than he did that night at the bar. It wasn't long before i found myself shamelessly checking him out- i couldn't help myself.
His dark hair was gelled back, not a single strand out of place. The top two buttons of his white shirt were undone; showcasing the colorful ink on his neck.
It was only right now that i noticed how fucking tall this man was. Now i wasn't short at all. But even at 5'8 this man towered over me by at least six inches.
"You thought wrong." I said simply, meeting his gaze. "What do you want?" I questioned cutting straight to the chase- I was really pushing my luck.
Judging by the smirk on his lips, he either remembered me or he was plotting how he was going to murder me in his head.
I hoped it was the former.
"What do i want?" He repeated my words slowly, almost as if he was confused and i furrowed my brows.
"Yeah..." I drawled out. "You called me over here for a reason, right?"
"I think you know what i want, Navia." He said lowly, his accent sounding a bit more prominent than i remembered.
My name wasn't the easiest to remember- or at least that's what i'd been told by other people countless times. So the fact, that he remembered it nearly two weeks after our encounter spoke volumes.
A tiny smirk made it's way onto my lips, deciding i wanted to play him a little bit. "I don't know actually." I tilted my head to the side with a small frown.
He let out a humorous chuckle, but the look on his face was anything but that. "I want the exact same thing you wanted that night at the club." He said taking a few step closer to me.
Fuck, which cologne is that? Gucci? No, maybe Versace? Whatever it was, it smelled good as fuck.
Our close proximity had my heart pounding out of my chest- in a good way. Surprisingly enough, i didn't feel like i was in danger. Despite the fact that this dude was a complete stranger and he'd gotten me alone in a secluded area.
Surely this situation was dangerous.
But for some odd reason, i just trusted that he wouldn't hurt me.
"Ah." I murmured. "It's all coming back to me now."
He poked cheek with the tip of his tongue in attempt to stop himself from smiling as he hummed- hot.
"I want you to finish up with your dinner and come with me." He said looking down at me with an unreadable expression- excuse me?
"And what if i don't want to come with you?" I questioned him with a scoff, my voice coming out harsher than i expected.
Obviously, i wanted to go with him. But it sounded like he was telling me, not asking me- and i didn't like that.
"Whether or not you choose to come with me is entirely up to you." He said, eyeing me intensely and i tried my best not to show how much his gaze was affecting me. "But you wouldn't have come over here if you didn't." He got you there.
