"Okay, what about this one?" I gave Soleil an unimpressed look as she held up a very revealing school girl costume in front of my face.

She practically dragged me here- to some run down halloween store against my will. Thankfully, it wasn't too far from campus, so i didn't have to drive my car.

"Absolutely not."

I fucking loathed halloween costumes.

They were generic and basic- and not to mention, extremely over sexualized. There also weren't a wide variety of options, it was either a sexy school girl or a sexy nurse- basically anything with the word 'sexy' in front of it.

No thanks.

"Oh, come on." She huffed, placing the costume back on its hook before grabbing the one right next to it. "How about you go as a sexy nurse-" Told you. "Huh?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me and i just started at her, causing a staring contest to begin between- which i obviously won. "Ugh, i don't understand why you're making this so difficult."

"I don't understand why i can't go as myself for halloween." She looked at me like as if i'd just seriously offended her- what?

"I'm gonna pretend you didn't just say that." She held a palm out in front of her face to block me out and i couldn't help but chuckle. "If you don't get it, i will." She told me, holding the costume against her chest protectively and i snorted.

"You do that." I quipped and she rolled her eyes at me playfully before clearing her throat.

"So, you don't see anything that you like?" She asked, gesturing to the wall of costumes.

I shook my head, "No, but it's alright i'm sure i can pull something together." Wasn't exactly too sure how i was gonna pull together a last minute halloween costume. But i'd figure something out.

I'd probably end up just wearing all black and telling people i was a robber.

She just hummed in response, "Okay, i'm gonna go pay for this." She told me, nodding her head towards the cashier. "Wanna get food after this? Lunch on me." She questioned and i smirked- now she was speaking my language.

We settled on my favorite place ever. Bit' Of Cream. Not only did they have the best coffee and cheese danishes i'd ever tasted, but they also had a pretty delicious lunch menu as well.

A smile made it's way onto my face when i noticed a certain blonde haired girl working the cash register. It was nice to see Savannah in here almost everyday, and i always looked forward to the small talk and playful banter she always initiated.

I joined the line and smiled widely as i approached the counter, Soleil walking beside me. We were the only ones on the line at the moment- it was mid day so there weren't too many people in here.

"Hey." She said, dragging out the 'y' as she greeted me before putting my usual order into the computer. "Okay, i got a medium iced caramel macchiato. D'you want anything else darlin'?"

"Hey." I greeted her back, laughing lightly at the girl- someone's feeling extra chipper today. "Can i also get a Turkey and Swiss Panini?" She hummed, quickly typing that into the computer before asking me if i wanted it to stay or to go. To which i answered 'to stay'.

"And what can i get for ya'?" She questioned chirpily, eyes fitting over to Soleil. She quickly told her the order, tapping her card onto the machine to pay once Savannah was finished typing it into the computer.
