Again With The Closet Kankri?

((So I did promise to update during my Hiatus and I also need a break from "Monochrome Nightmare" because omfg so much writing and so much scary I just can't take it right now... anyways I totally just thought of this cute little idea for the story and I wanna write it down before I forget lol ^_^ Enjoy!!! ~Nikk))

Cronus POV:

You had ran as fast as you could to Kankri's house. You didn't want to waste any time. if anybody saw you going over there, Your plan would fail. Plus you just really really REALLY wanted to see him. As you walked up the driveway you saw that Karkat was sitting out on the front step. "Shouldn't you be in bed right novw or somefin?" you snickered. He looked up at you with sad eyes. You could tell that he had been crying. As you rushed up to see what was wrong, He quickly wiped away his tears. "I'm fine. Just go see Kankri. I promise I wont tell Eridan that you were here..." He said quietly. You knew something was up. Karkat was never quiet. "Ya knovw, I have a little brother that comes to me everyday vwith his problems. If you need someone to talk to, I'll lend you my ear to chevw on. I promise I vwont treat you like some dumb kid like Kankri and your dad do. Everyone has issues... and its alvways better to talk about 'em with someone... Dont'cha think?" You said with a smile. He looked at you a little confused before he hung his head low. "It's not about me this time... it's about Kankri... If you really want to help me then go upstairs and talk to him now." Karkat groaned. You ruffled his hair as you walked inside. You had been here so many times that Karkat and Mr. Vantas had told you just to come in whenever. But when Mr. Vantas saw you this time he was really surprised. "What are you doing here kid? Aren't you gonna get in trouble?" He said as you turned the corner. "Oh um yeah vwell I kinda told my dad that I vwas staying the night at Porrim's so he didn't evwen question me... Do you mind not telling anyone that I'm here?" you asked. He chuckled. "Of course kiddo. You make Kankri happy and that's all that matters to me. If your dad is against your happiness then I don't mind keeping a secret." He stated. You thanked him before running upstairs to Kankri's room.

When you opened the door, He wasn't to be seen. But something was very VERY wrong. His bedroom looked even messier than yours!!! And that's sayin something!!! "Kanny? Babe, I'm here... vwhere are you?" You said softly. You heard some sniffles coming from inside the closet and your heart sank. Dear god not this again. You walked over to the closet and knocked. "C-Cr9nus??? That's y9u right??? Like, f9r real??? I'm n9t just imagining it again???" you heard him cry from behind the door. What did he mean again??? "Yeah babe. It's really me. Can I come in?" You coaxed. You heard Kankri shuffle his way over to the door and you heard a click sound as he unlocked it. The door opened slightly and what you saw made you want to cry. His hair was tangled and greasy as if he hadn't washed it in days and his clothes were dirty and smelled of sweat and tears. His face was the worst though. He had giant bags under his eyes as if he hadn't slept in days, His eyes themselves were red and puffy from his tears, and he had a very runny nose. He looked sick. But at least he wasn't wearing his contacts at the moment which made you smile. "I can't believe y9u actually came... Y9u said it but I didn't believe it...." he choked as you walked inside. You were so happy to see him that you didn't even respond. You just pulled him into a hug and squeezed him tightly. "You should believwe me vwhen I say somefin. I already told you that I vwould do anyfin for you. Trust me. I am a man of my vword." You managed to spit out. He was hesitant at first but then he softened up and squeezed you back. "I thought I was going to die without you... Literally... I just fell apart... I was so scared that you weren't coming back.... I gave up on everything and I guess I just accepted the fact that I would die alone..." He mumbled from your shoulder. His sweet voice stung with every word he said. It took all your strength not to burst out irrationally. You pulled your face from his shoulder, took a deep breath, and looked him in the eyes. "Kankri Vantas, I don't EVWER vwant to hear that from you again! I lovwe you too much to hear that your goin through so much pain... especially if it vwas me vwho caused it! I mean don't get me vwrong, I'm glad you told me instead of just bottling up inside... but still.... Your pain causes me pain. If you gavwe up, I vwould give up too. And I promise you that you vwill nevwer evwer EVWER die alone. I vwant to be vwith you forever. That's vwhy I'vwe been fighting to keep us together... Do I regret leavwing you alone for so long? Hell fucking yeah!!! It breaks my ovwn damn heart!!! I didn't vwant to tell you to stay avway!!! But do I regret fighting for us? Not a damn bit. I need you just as much as you need me. So evwen if vwe're far apart, Don't you dare give up on us again. I vwill alvways come back evwentually. Because I fucking lovwe you to the moon and back Kanny." You stated. At first, He was so shocked that he couldn't even speak. But after a few minutes, he began to shake rapidly as tears fell down his face. Finally, He fell to the floor and started to sob. You sighed and sat down on the floor in front of him. You thought about just letting him cry but you didn't want to see him like this. You smiled softly as you reached for his face. "I'll seal that promise off vwith this." You said as you pulled him towards you and kissed him. His tears slowed and he quickly fell into the kiss. you pulled him on to your lap and propped yourself against the door. You didn't want anything to ruin this moment.

"H-hey Babe?" You said between kisses. "Hmm?" He breathed. You took his face in your hands and smiled. "My plan was to move out of my dad's and get my own apartment... If your up for it... Do you maybe wanna come live with me?" you huffed. Kankri's eyes sparkled. "I pr9bably w9uld have pleaded f9r y9u t9 let me live with y9u anyways... Y9ur the best thing that has ever happened t9 me and if living t9gether is what it takes t9 be near y9u, then y9u better believe I'm living with y9u!" he scoffed. You had no idea that Kankri could be so sassy but it was extremely cute and sexy. You laughed and pulled both him and yourself off the ground. "Then I don't vwant to vwaste another minute! Let's look at some apartments on your laptop right novw!" you said as you picked him up and carried him out of the closet "9h-9kay but I have 9ne little request..." he stuttered as you set him down on his messy bed and grabbed his computer. "And vwhat vwould that be babe?" you hummed as you cuddled up beside him and turned on the laptop. He glanced over at the closet before throwing his arms around you. "I d9n't want an9ther walk-in cl9set." he stated. You smiled and kissed him again before opening up the web browser. "Don't vworry babe, I vwont let you go back in the closet ever again. Your mine novw. You don't need it anymore."

((So what did you guys think??? I know how much ya'll love them closet jokes so I decided to make this chapter all about em!!! The next chapter is not going to take so long because I really miss updating this story and I have so many cute ideas, my brain is going to explode!!! "Monochrome Nightmare" and "Satan's Wish" are still works in progress though so I will need to update those lil fuckers as much as possible... but for now I need a break. They are WAY too dark and depressing for me atm!!! I know this chapter was short but I wanted a cute, fluffy feel for this chapter... The next one will be a little bit more dramatic but thats all I can say about that without giving you snoopy lil shits any spoilers lol jk but yeah no, you guys aint gettin any spoilers -_- ANYWHO, I hope you loved it and I hope your all excited for the next chapter!!! ~Nikk))
