My feet were starting to ache by the end of the night, the stage now had half the grid dancing on it, Lando still going hard on the decks, but I knew I had a flight early in the morning.
I locate George at the back of the stage in a small dance circle with Yuki, Lewis, Daniel, Alex and Lily, all laughing as Yuki attempting to do a head stand but falling over.
I tug on George's arm, getting his attention, "can we head off?" I ask him, now struggling to stand with the amount I had to drink.
Since Charles had left I drowned my feelings in liquor hoping to forget about him, and for the most part I had done that.
George nods his head, grabbing onto my arm to steady me, talking into Lewis's ear, probably telling him we were leaving.
"Okay let's go," he says, his face now serious as he places his hand on my waist, taking my purse and heels from my hand that I had been carrying.
He guides me through the crowd, pushing people out the way that were threatening to push into us as we make our way back outside.
The night air was a lot cooler than it was earlier as I take a moment to close my eyes and breathe as I hear George beside me asking the valet to bring my car around.
"Are you not over the limit?" I ask George as the sound of the car draws my attention away from him.
"Someone had to drive you home," he smiles at me as the valet stops the car in front of us, George opening the door for me as I slide into the passenger seat.
We drive to the sound of my playlist playing, not speaking much as struggle to keep my eyes open as George was driving slower than usual.
He has to hold me up right by the time we're stumbling back into the hotel, a few stray camera's still lingering around the entrance asking us questions.
"Someone's getting luck tonight?" one calls out to George as I giggle, not helping myself.
He helps me into the elevator and I can't help but stare up at him, smiling as he watches the floors going up, not paying attention to me.
Just before the doors are about to ping open on our level, I kiss his neck, making him jump.
He tightens his grip on my waist, letting me leave kisses up his neck as I move to stand in front of his, putting my hand on the other side of his face.
"Madeline, please," he moans my name out as I grin against his skin, happy with his reply.
He pulls me away from him gently, holding my wrists before stroking the side of my face with a calm smile, "you're drunk darling."
He ushers me down the hallway to my hotel room, searching around my bag for my key card.
He looks up at me with a raised eyebrow as I shrug my shoulders with a grin.
"Oops?" I say giggling.
George runs a hand over his face, trying to hide his smile but fails terribly.
Suddenly he picks me up, swinging me over his shoulder as he continues on down the hallway, myself giggling telling him to put me down as being upside down wasn't the best for my drunk stomach right now.
He stops outside Dee's door, knocking on it gently.
We wait for her to open the door but no sounds of her coming to the door causes me to drunkenly knock on it a bit harder than I should've.
The door opens ajar and I peep my head in, "helloooooo, anyone homeeee?" I push the door opewn more.
All the lights were off, George close behind me as I look for the light switch.
