Ch 7 : Prepping for the Bar party?!

The morning sun cast a warm glow as Y/n woke up, feeling eager to join everyone for breakfast. She greeted Halmuni with a respectful bow, and Halmuni, trying not to smile, replied, "Good morning, Y/n."
Upon seeing Halmuni, she bows respectfully and greets her, but something seems different about Halmuni's demeanor.
Yeon was equally surprised by the change in Halmuni's demeanor and approached her, feigning curiosity, "What's with
the sudden change, Halmuni?"
Playfully, Halmuni smacked Yeon on the shoulders, scolding him, "Sit down and eat before the food gets cold!"
Hungry from the morning activities, Y/n eagerly sits down to enjoy the hot breakfast spread. As plates were served to Yu-ri, Shinjoo, and Rang, Y/n couldn't wait to indulge in the delicious spread. Her cheeks filled with rice, she savored every bite, She savors the delicious dishes, including miyeokguk (seaweed soup), doenjangguk (soybean paste soup), and kimchi on the side. Her fellow members were surprised yet amused by Y/n's joyous appreciation for the food. While they continued their breakfast, Y/n noticed Rang staring at her as she ate. She raised an eyebrow at him, causing Rang to snap out of his trance and feel a bit embarrassed for being caught. Halmuni, pleased with Y/n's reaction, offered her more food, but scolded Yeon and Shinjoo, "You both shouldn't eat so much. You have chores and jobs to do." Yeon and Shinjoo were surprised by Y/n's favor with Halmuni, but Y/n just chuckled, enjoying their expressions.
After finishing a satisfying breakfast, Y/n sighs contentedly and retreats to her room to change into a stunning outfit like*

As she steps out, she thinks greeting Jin with a warm "good morning," and he responds with a cheerful greeting in return. Y/n informs Jin that she's going out for a stroll.*

As she comes out, Yu-ri spots her and asks, "Y/n ssi, where are you off to this morning?" Y/n smiles and replies, "Oh, just thought of going for a walk to pass the time." She then
remembers about the bar party and reminds Yu-ri, "Don't wait for me today, I'll be out for a while. I have some important work to attend to."
As Y/n speaks, Rang approaches them from behind, subtly trying to eavesdrop on their conversation. He can't resist being curious and interrupts, asking, "What's this so-called important work you have?" Y/n gives him a strange look, and Yu-ri shoots Rang an awkward glance, hinting at him not to pry.
Feeling unsure about how to answer without raising suspicion, Y/n thinks of seeking Jin's help. However, Jin advises her to find a convincing response on her own to allay Rang's suspicions.
Y/n responds, "I have an important client to attend to for work." Though Rang nods, he remains skeptical about Y/n's explanation. Y/n bids them goodbye and sets off on her way, with Rang discreetly trailing behind her, determined not to be noticed.
Y/n walks towards the bustling market area, with Rang curiously trailing behind her. As she immerses herself in the chaotic atmosphere filled with the voices of shouting salesmen, she stumbles upon a small kitten in one of the stalls. Instantly captivated, she starts playing with the adorable creature and inquires with the sales lady about it.
Feeling a connection with the kitten, Y/n asks the lady if she can come back for it someday soon, to which the lady nods in agreement. She bids a fond farewell to the kitten, but as she turns back, she senses a presence behind her. Finding no one there, Rang has cleverly hidden behind one of the stalls, crouching on the ground, amused by Y/n's interaction with the kitten.
After Y/n walks forward, still unaware of Rang's presence, she spots Jang Uk in one of the market stalls and waves to him. Jang Uk is delighted to see Y/n there and waves back with a smile, asking, "Why am I seeing you here so early? What's up?" Y/n playfully responds, "Am I not allowed to be here at this time? I just wanted some fresh air, so I came for a stroll."
However, Jang Uk's tone turns serious as he reminds Y/n of the mysterious attackers who struck them without warning. Goosebumps forming, Y/n acknowledges, "Yes, I can never forget that experience. It still gives me chills. What have you learned about them?"
Jang Uk reveals that he recently found out that the attackers might be part of a massive army led by a formidable boss. Though he lacks substantial information about the leader, the attacks have resulted in the deaths of many innocent people, their bodies never found. Deep in thought, Y/n agrees, "We need to find out more about them and put an end to their atrocities."
Jang Uk and Y/n continue to stroll around the market, and they come across a vendor who is struggling to lift a heavy bag of rice grains. Jang Uk immediately steps in to lend a helping hand, supporting the vendor and guiding him to a nearby resting spot. Y/n, too, decides to assist and lifts another bag of rice grains, relieved that it's not as heavy as the previous one.
Meanwhile, Rang from afar is still trying to figure out whom Y/n is with when he gets pulled by Yeo-hee, who seems delighted to see him there. She cheerfully exclaims, "Rang, what are you doing here? How amazing! You're just on time. You should come with me; I came to buy some cloth items for my designs."
Frustrated by the distraction and unable to focus on Y/n's intentions, Rang decides to follow Yeo-hee, hoping to figure out the mystery surrounding Y/n and her activities. He allows Yeo-hee to lead the way. As Rang continues to accompany Yeo-hee through the market, he can't help but mentally scold Y/n and Yeon for the predicament he finds himself in. He feels frustrated and annoyed that he got caught up with Yeo-hee when he wanted to keep an eye on Y/n and figure out what she was up to.
In his mind, he berates Y/n and Yeon for making things complicated and not being transparent about their activities. He wonders why they are being secretive and why Y/n's actions are shrouded in mystery. Rang's curiosity and determination to find out the truth are heightened, and he can't help but feel suspicious about the whole situation.
As he navigates the market with Yeo-hee, he tries to stay focused on her, but his mind keeps wandering back to Y/n and what she might be doing. He knows he needs to be careful and not let his emotions cloud his judgment, but it's proving to be challenging with so many unanswered questions.
After enjoying a delectable lunch at the small restaurant, Y/n and Jang uk step out, feeling satisfied and content. Jang uk, ever curious about Y/n's plans for the bar party, can't resist asking her if she's figured out her outfit for the grand event. With a confident nod, Y/n assures him that she's all set and ready for the festivities.
As thoughts of her chosen attire bring a smile to her face, Y/n can't help but feel relieved that neither Rang nor Yu-ri followed her earlier. She knows her actions may seem secretive, but she has her reasons, and she can't afford to let them find out her true intentions just yet.

Despite her attempts to distract herself, her thoughts occasionally drift to Rang and Yu-ri. She wonders what they might be doing and hopes they won't stumble upon her plans. Resolute in her decision, she continues to prepare herself mentally for the night ahead.
As the sun sets, casting a warm glow over the city, Y/n finds herself making her way to Market Square. Excitement and nervousness swirl within her, but she reminds herself that this is for Jang uk and the enjoyment of the bar party.
