Y/n's heart raced as she swam deeper into the sea, driven by the urgency to find Rang. "Jin, I sense Rang's energy!" she called out to her friend waiting on the shore.

"Trust your instincts, Y/n. You've got this," Jin's reassuring voice echoed back.

With determination, Y/n closed her eyes, focusing her energy until she spotted Rang—bound to a chair beneath the sea, an anchor weighing him down. She dissolved the chains, freeing Rang and pulling him close, sensing an unsettling energy she'd never encountered before.

"An intimate physical contact between you both could free him from the energy," Jin's voice echoed in her mind.

Uncertain but determined, Y/n leaned in, planting a tender kiss on Rang's forehead. A wave of relief washed over her as the oppressive energy subsided, restoring Rang's breath but leaving him disoriented and unable to recognize her.

Returning to the shore, Y/n laid Rang down, a whirlwind of emotions consuming her. Tears streamed down her face as she pleaded for Rang to wake up. But her attempts were abruptly halted when Yeo-hee pushed her away, igniting a tense atmosphere among them.

"Yeo-hee!" Yeon's voice interjected, his concern for Y/n evident. "What are you doing?"

Ignoring Yeon's question, Yeo-hee cried out, desperately trying to awaken Rang. Her efforts, however, were in vain, and Yeon's gaze shifted to Y/n, gratitude shining through his eyes for her efforts to save Rang.

Yeo-hee, consumed by her emotions, lashed out, "If Y/n hadn't been meddling, Rang wouldn't be in this mess!"

"Enough, Yeo-hee! We need to get back to the guesthouse," Yeon directed, attempting to diffuse the tension. "We'll talk more there."

Y/n, sensing the escalating emotions, intervened gently, "Yeon, please. Don't be too harsh on Yeo-hee. I understand where it's coming from. It's not entirely her fault. She's just worried about Rang, like we all are. Her love for him is driving her concern."

Despite Yeo-hee's accusatory outburst, Y/n sought to defuse the situation, acknowledging the depth of her emotions. Yeon, recognizing Y/n's attempt to pacify the situation, nodded in agreement, acknowledging the complexities of Yeo-hee's feelings for Rang.

The tension remained palpable as they returned to the guesthouse, the caretaker providing aid for Rang, while Yeon checked on Y/n, assuring her of Rang's recovery.

"I'm glad he's okay," Y/n admitted, thankful for Yeon's support.

"You know Rang is strong!" Yeon reassured, his confidence in Rang evident.

"Thanks for trusting me," Y/n expressed, touched by Yeon's faith in her.

Expressing her need to seek solace and gather information, Y/n assured Yeon she'd return to the Moonlit Manor by the next day evening.
