You wait outside Hunter's room and knock on his door. It's around mid-day. He opens the door in uniform and stares at your outfit.

"You ready to go out?" You ask. "Oh, umm... I don't really have any outfits like... that." He looks away. "That's okay, you can wear a t-shirt and sweats for all I care. I just like dressing up a bit when I go out. You know, since we don't get to go out much." He nods.

"The only reason Emperor Belos is letting me go out today, is because he thinks it will be good to get to know you better." He admits. You just smile. "Give me a second to get dressed." He shuts his door.

When he comes out, he's in a basic white button up shirt. He's wearing dark navy blue jeans and black runners. Pretty good for someone who doesn't wear their non-work clothes too often. "Is this okay?" He asks, rubbing his neck. "You look great." You give a gentle smile.

Honestly, he looked a bit too great. He was... actually really handsome. But you couldn't tell him that. No matter how much you desperately wanted to. Among... other things you wanted to do.

God, I need to get out more often...

Walking through the castle on your way to leave, you strike up a conversation. "Does anyone here know what you look like? Or even know your name?" You ask. He turns to you. "Not really, no. The coven heads know what I look like, and so does my uncle, but for the most part my identity is pretty secretive." This would explain why everyone is wondering who he is and why he's in the castle. You guys have been interrogated by multiple guards.

Wait... uncle?

"What do you mean your uncle?" You ask curiously. He goes bright red. "Uh... the Emperor is my uncle..." he admits. "But you can't tell anyone! Then everyone will just think I'm the Golden Guard because he's my uncle! I worked hard to be where I am right now..." you nod silently. "I promise."

When you finally reach the castles exit, he pauses. "Is something wrong?" You ask. He takes a breath. "Nothing you need to worry about." He looks tense.

He starts across the bridge without you. There's a pause in his steps. "You coming or what?" He turns to ask when you don't move. "Oh, right!" You start walking towards him while you shuffle through your bag, trying to find your small pocket mirror to check that you look decent.

"Now isn't the time to do your makeup, princess. Let's get a move on." He continues walking. You scoff. He's definitely not as charming as you'd thought he'd be.

You walk in silence for most of the way there. You try to break the silence. "Do you ever go out?" You ask. "What do you mean?" He looks at you from the corner of his eyes as you walk down a concrete path through a park. "I don't know, do you ever like, get out of the castle to hang out with friends or something."

He looks forwards with a straight face. "I don't have any friends. They're an unnecessary distraction from work." You look up at him and stop. "You don't even have friends in the castle?" He stops and looks back to you. "Like I said, unnecessary distractions." He keeps walking. You're left stopped in your tracks. (yet given his attitude thus far, not surprised.)

When you arrive at the cafe, he opens the door for you. For some reason, it makes you happy to walk through the open door with him entering behind you.

Maya was right, this place looks sick. It's a warm tangerine-orange on the outside and a nice cool grey on the inside. The inside has murals of griffins breathing fire with spiders spewing out of their mouths. It was so cool.

You walk up to the counter. The cashier looked around your age, maybe a bit older. They had short black hair and chipped horns with small markings on them. You assume that the markings were some sort of... horn tattoos? You don't really know what they are, honestly.
