Prologue (not a chapter)

I'd like to think of this as my personal diary since i can't actually write one in books, my mom knows nothing about privacy.

My mom always says "what do you need privacy for, its overrated." which is why she always tries to get involved in my life.

She's also the reason why I always have to be careful before I do or say anything, one time in fifth grade I actually had a diary-on paper and my mom went through my room, found it and read it. The next day during Parent-Teacher Conference in which the student had to come, she blabbed every single thing that was in my diary to my teacher and worse we weren't the only parents-students in the room.

Every single students including parents laughed at what my mom said thinking it was a joke but up to this day I still remember that horrid memory. It was even worse that Jude was present, she's part of the reason why I get anxious over every little things and have anxiety attacks but the older I get the better I'm able to mask it and i can't just wait until i finish high school, go to college so I don't ever have to see my mom again.

I still have one more year of high school left which means i get a new fresh start and dont have to ever see Jude again. I've decided that since its my final year of high school, i should enjoy it without having to worry about anything or anyone. Even Celia Quoted "life is too short to be giving all your attention to guys, live a little. They're not worth it." and i semi agree with her, which is were the list comes in.

I'm going to try to get over my crush on Jude and maybe never like another guy again but i still dont know how to do that yet, which is why with the help of my best friend Celia. We're both going to figure out ways to fall out of love.

A/N: I'm not sure how i feel about this book yet but as i continue writing it I'll be making some changes. Also the song in this chapter is just for listen, it's not related to the chapter or book at all. Thank you for reading my book!!

p.s Darlia is a brown skin black girl and Jude is mixed. His mom is black and his dad is white.
