Chapter 21

"Birthday?" She asked, unsure of the words as she pulled away from the man. 

He smiled at her, nodding as he gave her a hearty chuckle. 

"Yeah! That's why I wanted to see you! We all do! I found out you weren't staying here for now and I told god "But her birthdays coming up!" So, he decided to let you up today! I can tell you we all miss you, and god it's so good to see you again!" 

The older man said, rubbing up her hair as she laughed. 

"I can't believe I forgot my own birthday.." She muttered, a bit embarrassed as her father gave her a sympathetic look.

 "Well, you've been busy down there! I've been watching you and I can tell you've been having it rough," He said, tears also welling up in his eyes as he bit his lip, shaking his head. 

He put his hands on her shoulders, bending down to her height a bit as he smiled a sad smile at her. 

     "But I am so proud of you, you have taken that world and showed it what you're made of! Baby girl, I am so lucky to be your father. You're doing amazing." 

He told her as a tear slowly streamed down her face, all that's been happening slowly crashing down onto her like a wave. He pulled her in close, as she just began to sob in her fathers arms. 

She missed the feeling, the feeling of knowing your loved inside and out. 

She missed her father. 

She missed his laugh, his words, his heart, his skin, she missed him entirely.

 And hearing those words, knowing that he was watching over her, and he was proud? 

Made everything seem a little more okay. 

She sobbed out, holding onto him as he just rubbed her back. XD watched the two, his heart filling up with pain for the girl. 

He walked over, {Name}'s dad nodding at XD. He let go of {Name}, XD replacing him in the hug as she just sobbed into his arms. 

Even if XD and her didn't get along a lot, they were always going to be each other's rock. 

Fake arguments and hate stood nothing against the feeling of comfort when sobbing in each other's arms. 

He hummed a song lightly, one they both learned from when they were children. Her father smiled, walking off to go do something important. XD just simply closed his eyes, swaying the girl back and forth as she calmed down.

 "Happy birthday, Limbo," He said, as she smiled, letting out a stuffy laugh.

 "Thanks, dream," She replied, whipping away her tears as techno walked over to them. 

"C'mon you two dorks, we've got stuff to do!" He said, as the three of them ran towards wherever her father rushed off to, giggling like the children they used to be once again.

"Okay... and open!" Techno told her, removing his eyes off of her face as she was met with the sight in front of her.

 There was a long table, with a simple two layered cake with flowers all over it. Behind the cake there was a table with seven presents on it, smiling people all around her. 

To the right of her were the familiar god siblings, Aquafina smiling the most at the two brothers just nodded at her. 

To her left was Momza and Phil, techno alongside them. Her father was on the other side of the table, as well as her mother and god.
