TW: Cutting wrists, blood :)

Dream casually glanced at the girl, softening his eyes when he finally realized who it was.

"Hi," He replied back, his head aching constantly.

"How has the secret meetings with Wilbur been?" {Name} asked half jokingly, a sense of bitterness and aggressiveness in her tone.

"Fine." He replied back with, unsure as to what to say. Admit he'd been praying over a book about her? Admit of his head aches? He'd prefer not.

{Name} walked over to him, noticing something peeking out of his bag.

"What's that?" She said, pointing at the brown book in his bag.

She was never a fan of small talk with dreams.

He glared at her, the softness he had for her nowhere to be seen at the moment.

Once again, having the familiar resentment Wilbur had.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" He asked, wishing he didn't have to hear her voice. For some reason it hurt his ears.. like it was too holy for him to listen to...

"That- book!" She snatched it from his bag, dream's face paling as he realized what she took.

She glanced at the cover, her eyes widening as she recognized what this was.

"Oh my god."

She worked quickly, frantically searching the kitchen drawers for something as dream panicked.

"Limbo...- {Name} give that back!" He yelled, as she found a knife, rolling up her sleeve.

She slit her wrists, seething at the feeling. She smeared the liquid on the book, as dream watched in horror.

He snapped out of his defensive mood, grabbing her wrist and taking the knife from her grasp.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING??" He yells in a panicked tone, holding her tightly.

He slowly paused, watching as the book he'd been praying to for weeks now slowly dissolved into the air.

Like ashes burning at the impact of blood.

[Name} calmly watched as well, wiping some of the tears she had from cutting herself onto her wound to help it heal fast.

"Angel blood kills demons. Dream- that book was demonic. How the hell did you get it???" {Name} asked quickly, as dream slowly felt himself snap back to reality.

His headache went away, his soul feeling lighter.

Like there was no one keeping him back.

He looked at the angel, feeling the familiar attractive pull he hadn't felt ever since he started praying to that book.

His gaze softened once again, his body relaxing.

"I-... i just found it in the mud-"

"Well don't start praying to shifty books you find on the ground- you idiot! What were you thinking?!" She sighed, as dream just stared at her.

Silence filled the room, as familiar emotions flowed through dream once again.

.

..

...

"I missed you." He whispered, {Name} just looking away from him.

It took her a while to reply, just softly letting out a breath of air.
