Chapter 30

{Name} was back up in heaven at the moment, the soft sound of holiness filling her ears like a familiar song.

She gently looked over at XD as he stared down at earth for the 10th time today, per usual.

{Name} sighed uncomfortably, glancing over at XD with sorrowful eyes.

She loved him.

She knew that.

She's known that.

For a while, actually.

If she remembers correctly, she realized she was in love with the god on her 16th birthday.

She remembers everything, to a surprising T.

The way he looked that day, for once in nice clothing and hair combed through properly. She remembers first smelling the salt water of his planet, first feeling soft grass in between her toes. The sunlight shining softly on her skin, with a familiar feeling resonating inside of her the whole time as she walked with XD.

He showed her his planet, for her birthday.

She had been begging him for years by then, everyday just wanting to see what it was like down there.

And that day he finally took her.

She never knew if it was the care sparkling in his eyes, or his laugh that certain day but something in that moment made her heart just...click.

What had also been happening for a while is dream's strange obsession with earth.

She knew what it was, even if she didn't want to admit it.

XD was in love.

With a human, for god's sake.

A human!

Every time {Name} thought about it she wanted to rip out her own hair, and that pretty lady down on earth.

Ever since they were children he'd spend his hours, looking down and just adoring this human on earth.

He felt connected to her, like she was growing up while he was also growing up.

He never admitted he loved her, though.

He'd just stare, and sigh,

and {Name} would glance over his shoulder and see her.

And she'd be pretty,

and her eyelashes were naturally long,

and her laugh sounded like heaven's cry.

And she was funny,

yet kind,

yet strong and independent.

She was everything, and a human.

And dream loved her, yet didn't even know her name.

{Name} looked over at XD, groaning as she rolled off of the chair she was sitting on.

They were in his.. 'Room' up in heaven. Because she had a bone to pick with him. "XD, I seriously have something to speak to you about!"

She told him, as he groaned. He turned fully around, now looking at her dead in the eyes.

"What, Limbo?" He replied, not seeming to happy she was there. She stood up now, walking over and taking a seat next to the god.
