{Name} hung upside down from a tree, her wings silently flapping as she simply listened to Fundy rant.
She always used to love listening to him talk, it seemed like she could always just listen to him speak.
And it seemed like he could never stop talking when she was around.
It was refreshing to him for someone to finally listen, finally have someone to just ramble to. It was like a warm bath after a long day.
They were both where they first met, outside out both pogtopia and l'manberg so they could both just comfortably be with themselves.
{Name} attempted to invite niki, but her bakery was packed and she couldn't make it. And as disappointed limbo was, she was also grateful that niki's shop was doing so well!
She deserved it, her baking was always fantastic.
"I wish you didn't leave," Fundy said, his voice dropping just the slightest in a sad manner. {Name} looked down, frowning a bit as she quietly flipped off of the branch and landed on the ground next to him.
She was now right in front of his face, tilting her head just the slightest bit. She rested her palm on his furry cheek, rubbing her thumb gently as he leaned into her touch.
She smiled at his action, letting out a big sigh as she bit her lip in contemplation. She wishes Wilbur never decided to have that dumb election, wishing that the world could just return to the way it was.
"You know I can't go back," She told him as he looked up at her, his eyes filled with desperation and hopelessness.
"Why can't you?" He asked breathlessly, putting his hands on her shoulders in a pleading manner. She looked at him, a bit shocked that he asked that.
She was stunned for a moment, no words forming in her mouth.
Why couldn't she?
She was given the role of her dreams back there, with her home and a warm bed.
Familiar friends with home cooked food every single day.
Fields of grass just outside the gates, sunsets over the hill that could marvel heaven's skies.
So why not?
Why was she forcing herself to be with Tommy and Wilbur?
And for once in her life, she didn't know the answer why.
She didn't want to be at pogtopia anymore, it didn't feel like home.
And maybe, it was time to go back home.
"I don't know Fundy." She replied, looking down at the grass beneath the both of them.
"I honestly don't know,"

Walking back into the l'manberg without the walls was strange.
It almost made her feel naked, like the whole world could feast their eyes on whatever happened inside of this land.
She took her first step back into the country without worry of being caught, and the wind didn't blow her face like it used to.
The smiles of the people didn't brighten up her face the way they always did.
The world didn't hum the tune as it used to in the non existent walls.
It seemed like the sun didn't shine its beautiful rays on the land anymore here.
It seemed... dead.
