Arrange Marriage (Bughead)

Chapter 6

JUGHEAD

I got out of my father's driveway and headed home with my future wife next to me. She had her head leaning against the window looking outside. I came to a stop and looked at her noticing that she fell asleep.

I stared at her as she slept so peacefully. I raised one of my hand on her cheek moving a strand of hair behind her ear. Shes beautiful don't get me wrong, but she is the exact same replica of her parents and I hate that. Her parents are the reason for this event, they are the reason why I hate her family so much.

Today's dinner wasn't as I planned it would go. The mention of my mother by the person who was the cause of her death. Had almost made me wanting to kill him right there and then but I stopped myself.

Something that caught my eye the most was when she was talking about something the work she's working on, she looked so happy talking about it but then she stopped. Her smile vanished when she turned to look at my father after looking at her father.

There was something off between her and her parents. As her mother quickly change the topic to the wedding and thinking she has control of the wedding.

I eventually made it home entering my driveway and parking the car in front of my house. I turned the car off and looked at her, she was still sleeping so I tried waking her up. But she didn't move. Again I shook her a bit but she didn't move.

"Fuck" I mumbled. I got out of my car and saw Toni waiting outside.

"Where is she" she questioned. Toni is my assistant but also my friend and like another sister to me. If anyone else would ask me that question I would ignore them and tell them to mind their own business, but she isn't.

"She's sleeping and she won't wake up" I sigh running a hand over my face.

"And what's the issue just carry her inside" I huffed in protest.

"Why, I could just shake her till she wakes up"

"Jones she's tired, thats probably why moving her won't wake her up" she argued. "So hurry up it's cold and she's probably freezing by now"

"She's not she has my coat on" Before leaving my dad house I handed her my coat as we were outside for longer than expected.

"Whatever hurry up now her room is ready to and her stuff were brought here earlier so her stuff are organized in it's own place"

"Thank you Toni" I said before opening the passenger door slowly as she was leaning on it earlier.

I got to open the door without dropping her. I unbuckled her seatbelt and removed my coat off her tossing it to Tony.

I placed a hand under her legs and one behind her back, slowly caring her on my arms bridal style making sure to not wake her up. She moved a little but didn't wake up, only placing her head on my shoulder.

I began walking to the front door of my house. Toni opened the door allowing me to enter. I walked up the stairs to where our rooms are at, passing through a hallway and turned left to her room.

I waited for Toni to open her door as I couldn't open the door. We walked in quietly Toni turned the light on as I placed her on the bed taking her heels off and pulling the duvet on top of her.

"Look at you being all gentlemen" Toni whispered behind me.

I rolled my eyes before replying. "First I'm always a gentleman and 2 it's the least I could do"

"Sure"

"I would change her but I don't think she will be happy if I was the one who changed her while she slept." I looked at Toni hoping she would catch on.

She nodded "Don't worry I'll do it"

"Thank you, I'll be sure to give you a good vacation" I whispered before leaving the room and walked across to my room removing my shoes.

Taking my tie off and unhooked my cuffs. Pulling off my dress shirt and swapping my pants with sweatpants. I walked around my bed turning off the table lamp and got under the covers. I sigh lying down.

What I did to her by taking her shoes off and letting her use my coat isn't something I do especially to the an enemies daughter. This is the one and only time I allowed this to happen.

I have to keep my distance from her. My eyes slowly closed due to overworking myself. I slowly drifted off to sleep in my own thoughts.
