Chapter 36

JUGHEAD

"Fangs, Toni I need you two to wait outside I need someone to take Betty home safe and I trust you two"I say earning a nod from everyone.

We all left my house and headed to our cars. Sweet Pea drove with me while Toni rode with Fangs. Hal knew of my appearance I made sure he knew.

We finally made it to his house. Me and Sweet pea got out of the car and went towards Fangs and Toni who were already out their car.

"Alright guys we know what we're doing." They nodded in response.

"Let go Sweet." I say

We both walked up the stairs I open the door that was unlocked. We walked through a hallway till we ended up in front of a wooden door.

I twisted the door knob and opened the door. We both walked inside and were met with Hal sitting on his desk writing.

I cleared my throat to catch his attention. "Jughead, just the person I was looking for" he said looking up at me.

I glared at him. "Where is my fiancée." I stated.

"She, is currently with Archie as you know already. Don't worry she'll be coming by soon but for now let talk."

"Quit playing games Hal I did not come to talk I came back for her so where is she. Did you want my attention cause if you did well you have it. Now I need my fiancée and like I said if she's hurt you're dead." I say looking him dead in the eye.

Hal stayed in his chair leaning back against it as he crossed his arms. I wanted to grab my gun and shoot him dead in the eye. But I needed answers.

"I'm willing to give her to you for a trade?" A fucking trade? Is his daughter an item?

I chuckled "What makes you think I'm trading something with you."

"Oh Jughead I see how you look at her and I know your willing to do anything for her, but I mean it's up to you I could always call Archie and tell him to do whatever he wants." He shrugged. I formed my hand into a fist.

I'm sorry Betty for the words that I'm about to say.

"Do what you want with her I was just using her." I shrugged.

"Fool I see how you look at her."

"I'll admit my acting skills were right on if you found that real."

"Jug." Sweet pea said placing his arm on my shoulder.

It all part of the plan.

"This arrangement was just to get my way into you."

"You think she'll forgive you."

"For what sending you to jail. I doubt it."

"No, for knowing that everything in these past months was a lie that you used her to get your way in?"

Forgive me Betty.

"No like you said she was useless, but she's not here, is she." I grin.
