It has been a year since Mitsuha came to Earth and took care of the pandemic.

Mitsuha was going to visit her brother but.

Mitsuha:
"So we're am i right now?"

Mitsuha looks around only to see she is in a forest.

And upon further inspection, she believe she is in her world, but on another continent.

Mitsuha:
"Hmm, maybe i should travel?, Or just look for a place to settle down"

She didn't want to take her position as Princess or take the throne so she has no reason to stay in that country, that is for the best.

Mitsuha then looks around, she found herself near a village.

When she was about to enter she heard a scream.

???:
"Help!"

Mitsuha immediately used her trained sense, she used her ears to look for the location, then found a girl on a tree, she was being chased by some wolves.

Seeing this mitsuha took action.

Mitsuha:
"Wind blades"

Mitsuha sends wind magic and beheads a wolf climbing the tree.

Mitsuha:
"Water blades, Wind arrows"

Mitsuha then send water blades to lower the number of wolves, then used wind arrows to eliminate the ones near the girl with more precision, so she wouldn't accidentally hurt the girl.

The remaining wolf's ran for their lives.

Mitsuha:
"That takes care of it"

Mitsuha looks at the girl on top of the tree.

Mitsuha:
"It's okay now"

Mitsuha used wind magic and lifted the girl down to her.

???:
"Thank you onee san"

Mitsuha:
"No problem, can you tell me what's your name?"

Colette:
"Colette"

Mitsuha:
"Then Colette, can you tell me were you live?"

Colette:
"Village"

Mitsuha:
"I see, let's go"

Mitsuha escorts Colette back to her village.

Guard:
"Is their anything you need miss?"

Mitsuha:
"Yes, this girl was attacked by some wolves, thankfully i was near the incident"

The guard was surprised, and then she saw Colette.

Guard:
"Wait Colette?!, Your parents were worried about you"

Colette looks down.

Mitsuha:
"Mah, let's go and see her parents"
