Chapter Twenty Six: Crossing the Line

I woke up disoriented. I didn't sleep enough last night. We start promotions today and I can barely open my eyes. Still, I got out of bed and got ready for the day, dressed in casual clothes, and went out to the kitchen where the other members were.

"Hey Minhye, you ready?"

I nodded and Soo Jin handed my my sandwich and tea and we went to the van to take us to show champion. We ate on the way there and were rushed inside by our manager to get to our waiting room.

"Okay girls, you can do this. I want you to go out there and show them what Black Pearl is made of!" Our manager said.

We all nodded and were then taken backstage. We walked on and greeted the audience.

"Hey guys, thanks for coming today!" Soo Jin said.

The crowd roared.

We began our performance, and the sound of the crowd cheering us on really gave me the strength to give it my all.

After a few takes, we finally finished the recording.

"Thank you all for coming out today. You've done great!" I smiled to the crowd.

As soon as we got back to the dorm I passed out on the couch.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. Ignoring it, I got up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. I got two fiber one chocolate granola bars and a bottle of water then went back on the couch. I turned on the tv and watched the kpop channel, they were talking about B.U.T.

Checking to see who was calling me, I saw a text pop up on my screen.

Sehun: It's not true.

Okay...? What exactly is that supposed to mean?

I looked back at the tv when I heard them say something about Sohee.

"Reports say that Park Sohee of rookie group B.U.T. was found going out on a date with Oh Sehun of EXO. Our sources say that they've been out together on a number of occasions, and that they've been together since Sohee became a trainee."

Oh. I get it.

But he doesn't really need to tell me that. I don't even care.

Okay maybe I care a little bit.

My phone rang again. It was Chen.

I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked.

"It's not true. Anyways, Sehun misses you. He knows that he was overreacting and wants to apologize."

"Then he should just apologize instead of getting someone else to call in for him." I replied.

"He didn't tell me. I just wanted to let you know. So how's it going at yg?"

"Its going great thank you, how is it at sm?"

"Its fine. But everyone misses you. Its dead here at the dorm."

"Everyone, jongdae?"

"Okay, almost everyone. Do you have plans for tomorrow?"

"No im off, why?"

"Well, i want to invite you to hang out with me then. Are you in?"

"Yeah sure."

"Thats great. I'll come to pick you up at your dorm ok?"

"Yeah, thats fine. I'll see you tomorrow then. What time are you coming by?"
