Chapter One: Fate (edited)

I woke up sluggishly and began getting ready for the day. I had a long day ahead of me. I walked into my kitchen and my parents were nowhere in sight. They never even said goodbye. Of course they left for work already. I swear, they are obsessed with their jobs. I understand that we wouldn't live this comfortably without it but I still want to be able to spend some time with my parents.

I'll just get to my own business already then.

I need to spend the day with my brother as some sort of "sibling bonding" activity. I grabbed a bowl and put some cereal in it then ate in silence.

I left soon after and told my driver to take me to YG Entertainment.

"We have arrived Miss Song." My driver announced as he held the door open for me.

"Thank you Mr. Lee." I said.

I walked inside with the accompaniment of two bodyguards. As we got to the entrance they left my side. It's not like I need protection anymore as long as I'm inside.

I went in the elevator and waited to get on the right floor. Once it stopped I went out and approached the door marked "WINNER"

I took a deep breath and walked through the door. As soon as I got in I was greeted with, "You're late, stupid!"

"Mino! How can you be that rude to a girl?" Seungyoon asked while shaking his head.

"But that's where your wrong. She's not a girl, she's my sister."

I facepalmed and sighed before walking over to him and taking a seat.

"Hey Yoon. Mino."

"What? No 'Hello 오빠, I haven't seen you in a while, how are you?" He sounded annoyed.

"Maybe I would have said those things if you hadn't called me stupid." I argued.

"Well maybe I wouldn't have called you stupid if you had greeted me first."

"You're so annoying you know that? Anyway, where are the others?" I asked Seungyoon.

"They went to visit iKON. They didn't feel like listening to you two argue."

"Then why did you stay?"

"Thought I would have to mediate..and I was right."

I scoffed.

"See! You're so immature. Seungyoon 오빠 couldn't visit your friends because of you. And you're supposed to be the sensible older brother." I scoffed.

Mino didn't speak for a while. We sat there it utter silence while he stared at me looking upset. Maybe I should apologize to him? We are siblings so we should be polite, at least. Before I could say anything though, he started talking.

"So you call him 오빠 and not me? Tch, I can't believe you."

And I wanted to apologize to this guy..

"You know I thought I actually made you upset and was going to apologize but forget it. You're too full of yourself."

"Whatever."

I sighed.

"....So..what were you doing before I came?"

I changed the subject quick. I just didn't want to stay in the silence with him. It would be too awkward.

"Nothing actually. We were waiting for you all morning. But then the guys suddenly left saying that they didn't want to sit in on two kids arguing. Tch, as if I'm child like. It's you that causes all the problems."
