Acrophobia -
A morbid fear of great heights.

Nouis is at a fair for a date. Niall wants churros, but there's a long line. He convinces Louis for them to the churros, but after a half-hour of waiting, they've run out! Louis gets super annoyed, at Niall. Niall makes it up to him by saying he can choose what they do for the rest of the time. Louis happily agrees, and chooses the big ferris wheel first, not knowing about his fear of heights. Niall gets worried, but doesn't want to make Louis more angry. The ferris wheel gets stuck. Niall tries to hide his panic. Things go downhill.

NIALL POV:
Louis and I walk down the fair, when I spot a stand.

"Ooh! There's churros! Can we get them Lou? Please!?"

He looks at me annoyedly.

"No, maybe next time, look at how long the line is babe!"

"But-but look at them! Please! Pretty please with a cherry on top!?"

"Fine."

"Yay!" I celebrate, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

He laughs and we stand in line.

Thirty Minutes Later:
NIALL POV:
"Niall, look, there's still so many people in line ahead of us!"

"We'll make i-"

Suddenly, a bunch of people start pushing into us.

"Wh-what's happening?"

"They ran out," a stranger passing by says, groaning.

I hesitantly look at Louis.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't, didn't expect that to happen. I didn't mean to..."

He looks straight back at me, but doesn't say anything.

"What-what about... you can choose whatever we do for the rest of the day..?"

A small smile spreads across his face.

"Ok, the ferris wheel, since you wouldn't do it with me earlier."

My eyes widen.

"I- but..." I stop, knowing there's no point in my arguing.

He smirks at me, obviously not knowing about my fear.

We get into the line, which is not too short, I must add.

I look at the people already in the ferris wheel and gulp.

They're so high up!

I slouch down, and get on my phone to distract myself.

Thirty Minutes Later
NIALL POV:
Louis taps me on the shoulder.

"Ready to get in!?" he asks, excitedly.

I nod, and thankfully he doesn't sense my worry.

We get in a few minutes later.

As soon as the ride starts going, I panic.

"Don't look down, don't look down," I think.

I look down.

"AaGHh!" I say.

Louis giggles at me.

"Isn't this fun?"

I nod again.

"Ooh! Look, we're at the top now!" Louis says.

I nod, but then notice something.

"D-d-did we stop m-moving..?"

"Oh, I guess we did. That sucks."

I look down again.

I subconsciously rock back and forth to calm myself.

"What are you doing?"

"N-nothing," I say to him.

He just shrugs at me, and looks at his phone.

My breathing picks up, and my heart rate speeds.

My body starts shaking, and Louis notices.

"Babe," he says chuckling, "why are you shaking?"

Then it all comes out.

I put my head into my hands and just cry.

"I-I have a fear of heights and-and I think I'm having a panic attack right now."

He looks at me, a mix of shock and worry spread across his face.

"W-why didn't you tell me?"

"I-I don't know! I didn't wanna make you more angry..."

"Aww, babe, I wouldn't mind, you should've told me, I'm sorry I forced you to go on the ferris wheel."

I just nod.

"C-can we go home after, please? Y-you can choose whatever we do the whole day tomorrow?"

"Aww, baby, of course, and we don't have to go back to the fair tomorrow, you'll probably be a bit tired and traumatized from this."

I nod.

"Thanks..."

Suddenly, the ride starts working again.

I jump off the ride as soon as I can, and Louis follows me.

When we get home, Louis cuddles with me and we watch Bluey (I keep seeing Odd1stOut Bluey video on my recommended, even though I've already watched it like twice, I don't know, ok?)

I fall asleep on his lap, and the next day, we do about the same thing.
