*ADELE'S POV*
I stand with Riley in the locker rooms. He has a hockey game. I'm nervous. I don't want him to get hurt again.
"Alright, everyone on the ice! Let's go!" Coach calls.
Riley gives me a quick kiss, "I love you." He smiles.
"I love you."
He goes to walk away but i grab his hand pulling him back to me.
His eyes search my face for concern.
"Please be careful." My hands find their way to his face.
He smiles and his cheeks pinken.
"I'll be okay."
"I love you. Have fun." I kiss him quickly before his teammates drag him off. He's still looking at me as he goes through the doors.
I really do love him. I never thought i could love someone.
I never thought i'd love someone like him.
I never thought i could be loved. But Riley shows and tells me constantly how much he loves me. I feel the same about him.
I love him so much.
I go out the bleachers and join Caitlin.
"We're best friends, right?" She looks at me.
My lips twitch, "Sure."
"Great." Her smile widens, "I've never had a best friend before."
"Me either."
"Really? But your like so cool and super nice,"
I scowl. Cool and super nice?
"What do best friends even talk about?" She continues.
I shrug.
The crowd goes silent and the other team lined up for a goal.
"Sex?" Caitlin blurts.
Everyone looks at her.
She winces and shrugs her shoulders. The game continues and her cheeks are pink.
"Seriously, do they talk about sex?"
"Do you want to talk about sex?"
"Ew no that's just weird."
I sigh.
