Cruella entered the Sultan's throne room and knelt down before the Sultan, Jafar. "Cruella De Vil. What brings you to Agrabah?" Cruella sighed. "Straight to the point, Darling. DunBroch is suffering a hostage situation on a colossal scale. I'm here to negotiate a massive loan so that they can buy a Magic Bean to mount a rescue mission." Jafar nodded. "Princess, would you lend me a hand?"

A young woman entered the room. "Jasmine, I need you to visit the Cave of Wonders. Our friend here needs at least ten treasures worth a fortune." Jasmine nodded. "I'll get right on that." Jasmine left the room. Cruella turned to face Jafar. "That was too easy. You didn't even ask how DunBroch could hope to ever repay the loan." Jafar smiled. "Agrabah has far more wealth than it could ever hope to know what to do with. Repaying us in Money is not what I had in mind. Favors, on the other hand, are worth a lot to us."

Jasmine hiked through the desert until she came across a stone temple half buried in the dunes, with the head of a tiger hanging above a massive door. Jasmine walked up to the door. "So much for stories." The stone bars sealing the door slid into the wall as the doors slid open. Jasmine prepared to walk inside when she noticed the sand tracks inside the temple. Jasmine looked back, looking for a similar trail, only to find that her own tracks were already being covered by the wind and sand. Determining how recently the temple was opened was borderline impossible.

Jasmine walked into the temple, observing the many different treasures, searching for someone inside. "Is someone here?" Jasmine reached to her side and pulled out a knife. "This place is off-limits!" The knife disappeared from her hand in a puff of smoke, reappearing behind her with the tip resting on the back of her neck. Jasmine slowly held up her arms. A young man holding an oil lamp in one hand and the knife in the other twisted the knife. "I have to say, Princess, I would have much rather preferred our first meeting to be less... Hostile."

"The Cave of Wonders is property of the royal palace of Agrabah." The man looked at the oil lamp. "Well, Princess, I'm afraid that won't be the case for much longer. Not while I have this lamp." Jasmine quickly turned around to face the street rat, noticing a pair of golden cuffs around his wrists. "As long as I hold the lamp, I am my own master. I grant my own wishes. And all of this treasure... Is now mine." Jasmine shook her head. "I won't let you get away with it." The street rat smiled, replacing the knife with a vial of red sand in a puff of smoke. "Let me get away with it? You're going to help me."

The street rat threw the red sand onto Jasmine, its magic entering her body. Jasmine slowly turned to face the street rat. "What are you trying to do?" The street rat smirked. "I want the throne of Agrabah, and all of its treasures. And I would appreciate it if you would be my Sultana." Jasmine smiled. "Of course. But... Who are you?" The street rat put the lamp in his pocket. "Call me Aladdin."
