Ursula, Maleficent, Cruella and Elsa sat at a table in a beachside tavern. Maleficent raised her mug into the air. "To the General." Cruella raised her own mug. "To Baelfire." Elsa raised her own mug. "May his soul find peace." Ursula raised her mug. "May the Light live on."

A voice behind Ursula spoke up. "He was a fine lad. Never another like him." The four Queens of Light turned to face a sailor. Elsa raised a finger. "I know you, don't I? You work on the ship that brought most of our troops to the battlefield." The sailor nodded. "Aye, luv. Deckhand Killian Jones. I... I knew the general quite well." Ursula handed Killian a mug of his own.

"To Baelfire." Killian took a drink from his mug, and immediately began to gag violently. Ursula held a hand to his chest, wrapping her tentacles around his torso, and tightened them to force the Rum out of him. "Bloody hell. I'm never touching that devil stuff again." Maleficent chuckled. "Suit yourself. More for us." Cruella shrugged. "Oh, if only this place served some proper Gin."

Ursula and Killian sat down at a table in the corner of the tavern. "You know, you remind me of someone. It's right on the tip of my tongue." Killian nodded, pointing at Ursula's tentacles. "Well, if that thing is any indication, I'd say you hail from Atlantica, luv. So I'm sure that you've heard of the upcoming wedding." Ursula pointed at Killian. "I knew you looked familiar! You're related to Liam Jones, aren't you?" Killian smirked. "My brother. Bought his way out of Blackbeard's service, and fell in love with a young mermaid." Ursula nodded. "Ariel. She's a friend of mine. Always seeking something more out of life. And if your brother's anything like yourself, then I'd say she's got herself a really good suitor." Killian smirked. "Actually, he's nothing like me. He's a far better man than I could ever hope to be." Killian held up his left arm, revealing a hook instead of a hand. "Saved me from a crocodile attack when I was just a lad."

A man in a red trenchcoat approached Killian and Ursula. "There you are, Deckhand Jones. Talking about your brother again, I see." Killian nodded. "Sorry, Captain." Captain Blackbeard chuckled. "No need to apologize for being proud. In fact, I'm feeling rather generous today. How would you like to actually attend your brother's wedding?" Killian smiled. "You're serious, Captain? You're never that generous." Blackbeard nodded. "Nonsense. Nothing can stop the Brothers Jones."

One week later, the Jolly Roger approached another ship in the middle of the ocean. Captain Liam Jones and Princess Ariel stood at the helm of the ship, holding each other's hands. Ariel turned to face the Jolly Roger. "Look! Your brother was able to make it after all!" Liam's breath grew shallow. "Ariel... get down."

Killian looked at the ship with the wedding through an eyeglass. "Bloody hell. They're already at the arch." Killian lowered the eyeglass. "Captain, if I'm going to attend, I need to board immediately." Captain Blackbeard held a hand on Killian's shoulder. "There's no need." Blackbeard turned to face the crew. "All hands, fire all!" Blackbeard's grip on Killian's shoulder tightened as all the cannons on the Jolly Roger opened fire.

Liam pushed Ariel to the ground the moment the Jolly Roger opened fire. One of the cannonballs ripped the handrail to shreds, the shrapnel flying towards Liam and Ariel. Liam dove in front of the shrapnel, preventing it from reaching Ariel. Ariel stood up and ran to Liam, catching him in her arms as his legs gave out. "Ariel... abandon ship. Save... yourself." Ariel helped Liam to lay down. "No. I'm not leaving you behind!" Liam reached up to stroke Ariel's cheek. "I... I love..." Liam dropped his arm. Ariel kissed Liam's lifeless body and held it close to her heart, jumping off of the ship before it was completely destroyed.

Killian sank to his knees. "Why?" Blackbeard turned his back to Killian. "You think your brother bought his way off my ship with gold he earned from hard work doing grain runs? He bought his naval commission with gold he stole from me, and left you behind to cover his tracks. Perhaps now people will learn to think twice before crossing me." Killian stood up and picked up a sword. "You won't get away with this." Blackbeard drew his own sword. "You really think you can beat me? A miserable, one-handed deckhand?" Killian sighed and dropped the sword.

Ariel washed up on the shore of a small island, holding Liam's body in her arms. Ariel looked up to see Ursula standing before her. "I'm so sorry." Ursula knelt down and held Ariel by the shoulders. "If there's anything I can do for you, Ariel, anything at all..." Ariel glared at Ursula with bloodshot eyes. "There is. I need to speak with your father. Now."
