King Poseidon sat on a large rock in the middle of the ocean, watching Ursula and Ariel swim up to the shore. Ariel sat down on the shore, removed her tail from the ocean, and slapped it onto the sand, causing her fin to transform into a pair of legs. "Ariel. I've heard much about you. You carry quite the tale of woe." Ariel grew angry. "I'm well aware of my suffering. How are you going to help me get my revenge on Blackbeard?" King Poseidon held out his arms. "In my ocean, there is but one rule. We must never interfere in the affairs of the human world for personal gain."

Ariel looked at Ursula. "Your daughter is one of the four most powerful knights in the human army, and you are in league with five other kings and queens. How is that not interfering?" Ursula crossed her arms. "My father has nothing to gain." Ariel turned to face Poseidon. "But you do have something to lose."

Another mermaid emerged from the water, with an angry look on her face. "My best friend has been turned into a human's dinner." A third mermaid emerged from the water. "Just when are you planning to punish Captain Ahab for his crimes against our whales?" More and more mermaids began emerging from the water, all voicing their complaints about the humans.

Ariel smirked. "Liam Jones had this saying. The day you push your sailors too far is the day the mutiny begins." Poseidon looked at the army of angry mermaids as Ariel grabbed his trident from him.

"This isn't your ocean anymore. You gave us all the gift of song, but now no mermaid will ever sing for any reason other than to guide sailors to their doom." Ariel snapped the trident in half, releasing all of its magic into herself. Ursula swung one of her tentacles at Ariel, but she grabbed it before it could hit her. Ariel squeezed the tentacle, and a bolt of lightning struck Ursula. "Now get out of my sight."
