~10 YEARS LATER...

"Aria, where is your brother!?" Val shouts from the bottom of the stairs after giving up on the search to find her son, Marcus White-Jones. Result of their honeymoon sex escapades.

"He must be across the street! Playing with Aaron and Kevin!" A 16-year-old voice of Aria shouts back from the beach causing Val to sigh in relief as she exits her house and stands on the porch to see that her son is indeed playing with Aaron and Kevin in her best friend's front yard. A smile forms on her lips seeing her son help Kevin when he falls and scrapes his knee.

Kevin Evans-Davis is a year younger than Marcus after Stella decided that she didn't want to wait too long to get pregnant. He looks almost identical to both Stella and Sam as they wanted to make sure that the sperm donor's features weren't too different from Sam and they succeeded. He is the same age as Marcus and both are best friends in making.

Before Val could call her son back for dinner her wife's car pulls up in the driveway causing her to smile before it immediately drops noting her wife's sour mood as she exits the car. Half her questions when she sees the twins exit the car with a nervous expression. She releases a breath knowing they must have done something.

"What happened?" Val asks as she leans up to meet River's lips for a brief kiss. River releases a heavy breath as she pasts pulling Val close by her waist, releasing the stress of work and the twin's shenanigans before replying,

"They pranked Lily and got kicked out of their sleepover." River replies causing Val to glare in the twin's direction only for them to retort with pouts and innocent smiles knowing full well that their Mama is the only person immune to it but they try nonetheless.

"We only did that because Lily messed with Aaron! She pushed him off the swings, what were we supposed to do!?" Valeria defends herself making Val sigh. While Valeria may not be the mischievous one of the pair, she is the most protective and vigilant, a guardian for her sister, friends, and classmates. She also makes sure Rose never goes too far with her pranks but this time...well, it's clear she was very much in support of the plan.

"What did you two do anyway?" Val asks curiously. Hoping it's not too much, she doesn't want to encourage them but also remembers the stupid and wild stuff her and her friends used to do back when they were in high school. Parenting is hard when you kind of agree with your kids.

"Nothing much. I say she deserved worse but we just glued the hair of some of her dolls and shaved the head of some others." Rose replies with a shrug and a mischievous glint in her eyes. Val at once understands that the original prank was worse and Valeria must have made her change her mind.

"Fine. Just go inside and remember no outing or new anything until the end of the school year." Val instructed sternly making them groan as they nodded with a frown.

"Don't look so sad. Only 3 months are left for this school year." River says having moved behind Val with her arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close.

The twins nod before they rush inside the house. Once they are out of sight, Val releases a breath turning around in River's arms wrapping her arms around her neck. Relaxing against her tired after her hectic day with her day at the office and with the kids but wearing a smile knowing she wouldn't change a single thing in her life.

"With Aria at the party, twins at the sleepover, and Aaron sleeping over with Kevin...I was looking forward to having you to myself." River mumbles in Val's ear making Val nod against her chest.

"Me too. With your Avris group collaboration and my expanding White Technologies, we have been so busy the past month and didn't get any time to spend together." Val whispers before both of them release a breath and shrugs.
