"good afternoon, i'm susannah fisher," she starts, as everyone cheers, "chair of the club's community service board, and i am delighted to welcome you to play it forward!" everyone cheers again, "you know, as my mother used to say, if you're lucky enough to be at the beach, you're lucky enough. and we are very fortunate indeed. which is why, in the spirit of fun and friendly competition, it is time to open our hearts and our wallets and give back to those who may not be as fortunate. we have teams raising money for homelessness, women's shelters, environmental causes, and many more. and play it forward will match pledges for the winner of the tournament!" everyone cheers once again, before susannah speaks again, "pledge table's still open, so please donate generously. and with that, i say let the games begin!" she announces, as everyone claps and cheers.

"you excited to win that trophy connie?" kallie asks the boy next to her, pointing at the trophy.

"you know it rose," he smiles, "just watch out for those two, her spike is lethal," he informs.

"hey, you look great in pink, by the way," she compliments, pointing out his shirt for the tournament.

"you don't look to bad yourself," he says, as kallie playfully rolls her eyes, and the two of them head over and talk to susannah for a sec.

before kallie knew it she was rolling her eyes. conrad was talking to nicole, and kallie was finding herself... jealous? colin then walks up next to her scaring her as he speaks up, "woah, you look a bit jealous there kal,"

"what the fuck!" she exclaims. "i'm not jealous."

"sure you aren't," he says. "so, did you ask him out? is there any progress at all?"

"we're going to the deb ball together, but that's about it." she says. colin then rolling his eyes.

"so go interrupt them, and go talk to your boyfriend!"

"he's not my boyfriend colin."

"yet," he says before being called over by jules, and jacob— who was in one of the play it forward shirts as well.

the tournament had been going very well, conrad and kallie were a great team. the two were currently watching belly and taylor, cheering them on. when out of nowhere, taylor "twists her ankle". soon, jeremiah is subbing for her, as nicole walks towards them with two drinks in her hand.  "i didn't know if you wanted anything," nicole explains, as she hands conrad a drink. the boy rolls his eyes without nicole knowing. being as nicole had asked kallie what she wanted, and just simply didn't get it. and at the end of the game, jeremiah and belly won, and it was now conrad and kallie's turn.
