KALLIE WAS TALKING TO COLIN,BEFORE turning to look, and seeing jacob sitting alone on the sand. "hold on colin, i need to go talk to jake real quick."
"yeah, that's fine, imma go hang out with jere and see what he's doing." he nods as the both get up and head in different directions. seconds later, she was next to jacob, who was just looking at the waves. "hey, what's wrong, where's juliette?"
"nothing, and she's with shayla and gigi i think. she's a deb you know?" he replies, not taking his eyes off of the water.
"yeah i know," she sighs, "and i also know that something is wrong. i thought we could tell each other everything jake."
"we can, it's just that, you're in such a happy mood today, and i don't wanna ruin it with my sad shit." he explains.
"i couldn't care less about my mood, i care about you. who cares if you ruin my mood?"
"have you noticed how all the dads are here except ours. and i know i can't really call him to come to cousins, cause.. y'know. but i just really wish he was here. to meet juliette, and to watch you be a deb. i don't know, i just really fucking miss him." he says.
"yeah, i get that. i really want him here too. dad was the best. and it really doesn't help that adam and john are here. but it'll be okay, and it's okay to miss dad, but don't spend today in a bad mood about it. and go have fun with your girlfriend!" she smiles.
"we're not dating kale." he rolls his eyes playfully.
"you're not dating, yet." she adds with a smile.
"fine, we're not dating yet," he smiles, "how are you not upset?" he asks.
"oh, this morning i was crying, i just put on a fake smile earlier, and i'm trying to look on the bright side. plus, i've been drinking a bit." she shrugs.
"it amazes me how you can usually drink so much, and not get that drunk." he tells her as he stands up. kallie stood up seconds later.
"yeah, i don't know how i do it either," she laughs before pushing him, " now go hang out with juliette, she's really nice."
"yeah, i know." he smiles as he heads towards the direction where juliette was. kal on the other hand continued to drink. and moments later, she was pretty drunk.
and in her drunken state, she decided to walk over to juliette and steven who were sitting by the pool. "hey guys!" she jacob, "do you guys know where conrad is?"
