2 - Missin' U

The busy hotel manager took notice of Shindong's presence, rushing over as he bowed. "Mr. Shin. I didn't expect you today." He nodded as he moved to the executive elevator with the hotel manager following like a sad little puppy. "Has he arrived?" "Yes sir, he's residing at the Penthouse like you requested." Shindong nodded as he got on, turning to the employee.

"Good work, I'll see to it your promotion will be swift." The employee's face failed to control his smile before bowing to the male, the door shutting as he sighs. Oh right... It's him waiting for me. He went and crouched on the ground, seeing it was close to the top floor--a ding signaling for the doors to open.

Like Shindong's instincts somehow predicted, as soon as the door slid open, knives were thrown at the wall where he'd previously stood, seeing a male present finished with all his tricks. "Heol, you expected it like usual, Dong-ah." He smirked as the latter stood properly, moving towards him, getting off at the elevator, a small smile present on his face. "Heechul-hyung, you've been doing this for 8 years--i learned about your insane tricks at the humble age of 21."

Heechul cackled as he went towards the living room, the younger following as they each took a seat on the couch. "You wanted to meet me hyung?" Shindong stared at him, seeing as he took out two pieces of lollipop, giving one to him. "I went around the district. Somehow I found an old friend of yours. That Nam Sujong." Heechul popped the candy into his mouth, sucking at it as he turned to the younger who heaved a breath.

Shindong shrugged as he put the candy into his pocket. "And so I've heard. What'd you do to him?" Heechul pouted, the stick jutting out as he recalled the male. Heechul's beauty was something opposite of his sadistic tactics, he'd heard how bad the dealer messed his little dongsaeng up that he took the liberty of finding him.

However when he did, instead of giving him the sweet release of death, he kept him in a secluded bunker, chained up. Heechul smiled. "Just having fun. Anyhow how's your business going?" Shindong scratched his nape. "Well, a new dealer. That's all. It's gonna be awhile before things go back to how it went." The younger looked towards Heechul, seeing him have a distant look outside the window. "Him? How's he holding up?" His tone turned from playful to serious.

Holding his hands together, he looked down, knowing who he meant. "Fine. You know how he is." Shindong recalled the smiling male, his heart somehow enlightened by the memory. Heechul saw his little brother's gaze, making him throw the pillow--catching the latter's attention.

"Yah, Kibum is your nephew, he won't bite the dust just like that." They chuckled as both stared off to the window. "Right. But you gotta admit, we need to move his hospital soon. My nephew is too handsome. I heard the nurse station having a full-rotation on who'll check him." The older man cackled, happy to know his little brother was adored. "You gotta admit--our looks are a big plus." "Don't make him like you--he's more flirty because of what you taught." Shindong nagged as they chatted.

Before they can talk, the elevator dinged, making them turn towards it--the door cracking open to reveal a smiling male--a bit bloody as his clothes are tainted. "Hello~ Donghee-ah." Heechul stared at the male entering the room, Shindong standing up as they gave a high-five. "Teukkie-hyung! Nice to see ya." "Been busy doing stuff." Leeteuk smiled as he looked down, trying to dust off the blood--failing.

Heechul glared at the figure currently standing before rolling his eyes, Leeteuk went through his pockets, soon pulling out a piece of paper. "Got a message from Prince Charming." He gave the younger the paper, letting him read the message.

Shindong felt the tension inside the room, Leeteuk was fiddling with his phone whilst Heechul was glaring at the older with a frown. Then... this is my queue to leave... "So, I'm gonna leave--bye, hyung!" Shindong moved out the room with a sigh--trying to run off leaving the icy duo to sort through themselves.

As Leeteuk put down his phone, he peered towards the pretty male still staring at him, making him heave a breath. "I'll be heading out." He turned his heel, moving off to the elevator, but he felt heat behind him and dodged something flying by--

he looked to the wall--now currently stabbed through by a knife, turning to the male behind him still having his arms up, glaring at him.

Leeteuk frowned. "What? You said not to talk to you." "Fuck off." "I'd be the Top as usual." Heechul felt his ears burn, looking away as the words fell from the older, making him stand up--moving to the male. "If you wanna be professional like you did... Heechul-ah, just ignore me." He went off to the elevator, moving out.

Shindong had gone down to the parking lot, moving to his driver. He caught a glimpse of a suited man--making him turn to his car. But he saw his driver lurched over the steering wheel, a white fabric over his neck as he sighed. "Yo, Donghee-sshi." A tone of voice made him chuckle.

"Aigoo. Kendall, you sure got me." He raised his hands, turning around to see a gruff looking foreigner. "What made you visit? Need more cash?" Kendall rolled his eyes. "The boss is looking for you." The male smugly smiled as the taller looked off, confused by how unthreatened the shorter was. "You need to plan this thoroughly... you are still in MY hotel." He simply yelled. "Help! Someone!"

The doors behind opened, guards seeing the situation. "Sir Shin!? Put your hands up now! You are surrounded!" One of the guards pointed his gun to Kendall who was wide eyed, seeing Shindong faking his whimpers of fear. The guards managed to subdue Kendall, ensuring Shindong's safety, rushing him to the Hotel's clinic.

"Sir, are you okay? Do you feel sick?" The hotel doctor asked gently, making him nod, feigning distraught. With some discussion, he was sent back to the Penthouse--his home--glad to see an empty area, making him go to his office, the secluded area showing off the evening view. He'd managed to catch a glimpse of a large picture frame hug over the door, three boys smiling brightly.

His lips curled as he recalled them. His brother, Heechul and his Nephew, Kibum. The only family he has left--making him live--the reason for him to even be in that position. "Has it really been 5 years..." he turned the swivel chair, facing the view as he thought about his current dilemma.

I should've just dealt with him... now I have to fake my cowardice. He sighed, massaging his temples, grabbing the nearby telephone, pressing a digit--speed dialing a certain male. A few rings and drumming of fingers, the line connected. "Yeah, Donghee-hyung?" The usual firm tone turned soft as it was after hours.

"Oh, Hyukjae-ah, I'm in a pickle. Can you go visit Bum for me?" He uttered, hearing a sigh from the other line. "Thank god, an excuse." "WHAT?! Donghee-hyung, why'd you call now!" Shindong chuckled, hearing his friend, Sungmin, exclaimed--knowing he must've been lecturing Eunhyuk.
