4 - She's Gone
The morning came with Shindong having to meet with a businessman to renew their agreement, he rode his car, driving to the edge of the city--seeing the highlight of Lau International hoisted on the building, making him park by the entrance, giving the keys to the chauffeur.
Upon entering, he was bowed to by the staff, making him nod--reaching the waiting room by the front desk. He'd seen a male close by, making him sit across him--both shocked by who they are.
"Sungmin/Shindong?!" They pointed to one another, catching some attention. "Yah, why're you here?" "Hyung, this deal covers us too, don't forget." Sungmin stated with a smile, making Shindong recall his call with Heechul, nodding. "Mr. Shin. Mr. Lee, The CEO is expecting you." A girl gestured to the elevator--the two standing up and following her, small talk appearing until the doors opened, revealing a very simple yet cozy office.
The person sitting by the desk jumped from his seat, arms up in the air. "Hyung's! You finally arrived!" He smiled as the two chuckled, a bit shocked to say the least. The guy was the CEO and he acted like a high-schooler. "You guys take a seat, will we be fixing the contract?" Shindong looked around, wondering where their new dealer was.
In a flash, the glass wall that separates the meeting room from Henry's office shattered, a figure being thrown. They were alarmed when the thrown figure grimaced, turning to the perpetrator as they soon saw a smaller male.
Henry gasped. "Ryeonggu! Why'd you throw him?! Now we gotta clean this up, hyung!" He panicked, rushing to his friend, checking his hand. "But you okay?" He felt worried as Sungmin stood, peeking into the wounded, seeing a familiar badge. "Donghee-hyung. How far is your station from here?" Shindong felt confused as he leaned back on his seat. "30 minutes by car." Sungmin tsked, still smiling as he leaned down. "Yah..." his smile gone into a scary scowl. "Tell your friends, goodbye." He pointed to his ear.
The man was shocked when the room was soon swarmed by a group of men, pointing guns. Sungmin stood smiling, Henry holding the guy by his collar, pulling him to the table. Sungmin stared at them, condescendingly. "You guys really need to get a new hobby, well It'll be fun getting rid of you anyway." As the words were said, the curtains were shut as the whole floor was dimmed, a loud shot was heard, the lights going on and off as guns ablaze. Henry, tackling a guy and twisting him by his shoulder to the ground--Shindong pistol-whipping one as he smashed a nearby book onto the other's head. Ryeowook kicked down two by ankles, soon using his gun to blow their heads out.
When the lights permanently came on, they looked towards the person near the elevator, shivering at the sight of Sungmin, the male standing over lifeless bodies, knives pummeled into their heads and stabbed like they were air. "Heol, I forget he isn't just a lawyer sometimes." Shindong voiced as the latter smiled, moving back to them, not paying mind to his bloody suit.
The remaining guy was pulled to a seat by Ryeowook who stared at him boredly. "Oi, Mister. You need to deliver our little message okay? If they don't stop. Then you'll all--" he made a slicing gesture over his neck. "--drop." The man frantically nodded, begging to spare him.

"And that's it. Lau International had renewed their deal with Shin Co. as their personal arms dealer--including Kim Queen Corp. This will be a formal agreement, any intrusive ideals and broken terms results in contract termination and liability--death."
Henry chuckled as he looked at the older. "Hyung, you make it sound worse than it already is." He closed his file. "Yah, you literally skinned one of your former dealers because they used their weapons to attack you." Shindong recalled the news of the young and hyper CEO's scary facade, Henry pouted, looking at Sungmin for help when the older simply shrugged. "Anyhow, hyung--got something for you." Sungmin fetched his phone, fiddling with it before showing its screen.
Shindong, shocked by the article, grabbed his phone to read it. He felt fear quip him. She... she doesn't exist... no. He chanted in his head as he gave the phone back, breathing heavily as the younger sighed--expecting the reaction after how much they'd gone through.
"Go ask Heechul. I know he'd explain everything better... I know, but not enough to keep you sane." The firm words coming from such a sweet voice made them realize the depth of the situation. "Shindong-hyung, fighting." Ryeowook told with a concerned face before he nodded, trying to control himself before going outside. What is going on...

Keep drinking it. You are unwell, Kibummie. My Kibummie, drink this for mommy. Get yourself together, weak brat?! I told you to figure your body out!
"Kibum-sshi!" A loud voice woke him up as staff were inside his room, concerned as he looked at them, he'd caused a ruckus as he turned to the person beside him, Choi Siwon. "D-Doc..." the older man gently went and hugged him, worried that the boy was still shaking. "He's stabilizing, doc." Siwon nodded as people soon cleared out, leaving the two alone. The male shivering, held onto the doctor's sleeve, getting to grips with himself as Siwon gently patted his shoulders, calming him down.
Kibum swallowed the lump in his throat, huddled towards the male, the nightmarish thoughts going in and out of his mind. "Kibum-sshi--" he mumbled as he peered his eyes slightly open, looking up to see Siwon. "--yeah, yeah, eyes on me. Breath in." He tried to revert Kibum's breathing to normal, succeeding as the latter nodded.
With Siwon remaining in the room, Kibum sat up on his bed. "Can you do something for me, Siwon-hyung?" He made the doctor nod. "Call my hyung. Any of them. Please." Kibum said with a monotone voice, making the latter nod, staring at him. They had a stare down until Siwon's phone rang, but he paid no mind to it, reaching to pat Kibum's head--the patient felt his ears ring. Soon, Siwon moved off to the door, close to shutting it when he heard him. "Thank you, Siwon-hyung." His lips formed a smile, moving off.

The evening came as Shindong had gone back to the hotel, trying to make sense of what he heard from Sungmin. Entering into his office, finding the lights opened remotely upon his entrance. He turned to the desk, seeing his friend. "Hello, Hyung." "Oh, Eunhyuk-ah." He smiled at the younger, moving towards him.
He looked rather tired as he sat on the older seat. "You... okay?" I should've guessed... of course he knew of that lunatic. He was there... Shindong put a small smile as went and plopped himself down the couch, looking to the ceiling. "Been better..." "no shit. I've been your concierge for this whole life of yours. Don't even try lying to my face." He stood, moving towards the male, standing by him with his hands in his pocket.
The distant gaze by the older made Eunhyuk sigh, looking off to the window, words slipping out his lips. "Kibum's condition got better. I made a mess yesterday at the hospital." Shindong snapped out, confused by mixed reports, looking to see the male's serious expression. "There are people becoming aware that you have someone at the hospital to watch over. Soon or later, they'll find Bum... unless we pluck these leaves off to find it's seed."
Shindong clicked his tongue, knowing of something--someone out to get him. "They sure made a mess... just this week alone, I got attacked by one of Leo's men, my meeting with Henry nearly trashed by another one, now... this." He sighed, looking to the younger who saw the darkening gleam in his eyes.
"I'm having you go on a field trip. Don't let them off."
