~ Keefe ~

Fitz grins, patting him on the back roughly and completely unaware of his sister. "Congrats, man! Is she pretty? Rich? God, I bet she is, to have captured your heart."

Keefe feels a spark of anger. Is that really all that Fitz cares about? Looks? Riches?

Biana stares, heartbroken and extremely angry, at Keefe. "What the hell is it about this Sophie?!" she spat, saying Sophie's name like a curse word. "What does she have that I don't?!"

"She's not spoiled, unlike you!" Keefe snaps back, then immediately regrets it at her shocked and hurt face. "I-I'm sorry, Bi, but i can't just let someone talk bad about the love of my life."

Keefe clamps a hand over his mouth and his eyes widen.

Biana sniffs, tears welling up in her eyes. "So be it, then! I hope she breaks your heart!"

She runs out of the room, and her crying echoing off the pristine-white halls of their castle/palace.

"Dude, whatever you said to my sister," Fitz says, "lemme just say that it was awesome. Like, Biana hasn't cried like THAT since she was two and I stole her sippy-cup and wouldn't give it back."

"Shitttt," Keefe groans, his hands covering his face. "What have I done? Bi's like a sister to me."

Fitz shrugs, then suddenly grins again. "So, tell me about this 'Sophie'. What's she look like? How rich is she?"

"Actually, she's from the Kingdom of Havenfield, and they're not very rich there," Keefe snaps.

For some reason, he feels protective of Sophie even though he hasn't seen her since twelve years ago.

Fitz's face blanched until suddenly, he barks out a laugh.

Keefe stares at his best friend, slightly concerned for his sanity.

His bestfriend grins once he's stopped laughing, realizing that poor Keefe has no idea what he's laughing about.

He almost feels bad about it.

Almost.

"I can't believe that you, Keefe," Fitz begins. "Gosh..how to say this?"

"Just spit it out already!" Keefe yells. And he almost never yells. But something in Fitz's eyes makes him nervous.

Fitz shrugs. "If you really want to know."

He leans forward. "That girl, Sophie Foster? The one you're taking to the Ball? She's the one I'm to marry in four months."

Question: Should I make Biana and Sophie friends and then Biana finds out who Sophie really is?
