Also- as of August 4th, 2023, it is officially my 1-year anniversary of using Wattpad! Hooray! 🥳 So I decided to be nice and update lol.

Enjoy!

~ Biana ~ btw this starts from when she just finds out

I sob into my pillow, my mom- Queen Della -rubbing my back as I do so. My mascara runs down my face and I'm sure that the maids are probably gossiping about me to every other servant, but I don't really care.

"Why, Mom!" I cry. "I've got everything—charm, good looks, smarts, royalty, money, attractiveness! What more could he want?"

Mom opens her mouth, but then seems to hesitate.

"What is it?" I ask, wiping away my tears and staring at her with teary eyes.

Mom just sighs, looking away and out the window. "You understand that women don't hav the same rights in this country, yes?"

I nod. "Of course. My friend Sophie and I have been fighting for our rights for years now."

"Good. Then you understand that if men want to..do or say anything to women, they can't even get in trouble for it, right?"

'Where is this conversation heading..' I wonder, but nod again. 'And what does this have to do with Keefe?'

"..What I'm saying is, Keefe may be thinking that he can just love whoever he wants and doesn't care about how many hearts he breaks in the process," Mom finishes.

I gasp. "But that's not who Keefe is at all!"

Della sighs. "I thought so too. But, after all, your father was so nice when I first married him. Now he's just a selfish jerk. People can change, Bi. Whether it's for good or for bad, that's for them to decide."

I swipe at my tears, a sudden determination lighting up my veins. "I know what I have to do now."

Mom cracks a smile, "And what's that?"

"No matter who Keefe loves, likes, or even wants to be with," I say, "He's still one of my closet, most best friends in the whole world. And even if he loves someone who isn't me..well, I'll be with him and whoever he loves the whole step of the way, supporting them from the sidelines or even right up front."

"That's my girl!" Mom cheers, and she embraces me in a hug. "Now, I believe that there's a certain black-haired boy with silver eyes that's caught your eye?"

She winks and I groan, mostly because of how cringe that wink is.

"Mooooooomm!" I groan.

Mom just laughs. "Don't worry, I'm just kidding," she says, then gives me a confident smile. "Go get your man, Bi."

I grin. "You don't worry. I will. If it's the last thing I do."

489 words.

Help that was so cringe- I cringed so much writing this I can't even count.

I hope you enjoyed tho !
