A 12 year old girl was wearing a black tink top, ripped jean shorts, a number 8 jersey over the top and black vans. Her black hair had her favorite LA baseball cap.
The girl's name was Kayla Rose Elizabeth Ruth and she had just moved from Columbia to Utah.
-----------------------------------
"Mommy?"
Mom: Yeah, honey?
"What are we moving to a new neighborhood again?" Kayla asked while fiddling with her fingers.
"I already told you this Kayla." Miss. Ruth said with a sigh. "We're moving because your dad got a new job and he couldn't afford to do it in Texas. And your brother and sister said that that will be here tomorrow. And I know I should have told you this sooner, but you won't be able to see your dad at all this summer." She finished causing Kayla to smile slightly.
"It's just...I'm gonna have to go to a new school and I won't know anyone there."
"I know new schools can be scary and I know you miss the guys, but I heard there a Sandlot where you can play baseball at." Her mom said while smiling at her threw the review mirror.
Kayla: I guess that won't be so bad. But I'll still miss them. She said with a small smile.
"That's the spirit. And you know another thing?"
"Yes?"
"You can still text and call them."
"Oh, right. I forgot about that." The girl mumbled.

The Next Day:"Honey, we're hear." Zoe said waking the girl up from her slumber.
Kayla looks out the window to see a very big 2 story house, a short drive way and a big backyard.
Kayla: Is that our house? She asks in awe.
Zoe: Yep. And we got hear on the last week of school so you'll be starting next year. Why don't you go check out your new bedroom.
Kayla: Okay. She hops out of the car with Ruth behind her and walks up the stairs into her new bedroom. "My new room is awesome!" Ruth barks in agreement and lays in his new dog bed watching Kayla set her room up.
------------------------------
An Hour Later:Kayla placed the last picture frame on her desk and smile in satisfaction while Ruth wakes up from his nap and stretches with a yawn.
Kayla: Perfect.
Zoe: Ka, come pick up the rest of the boxes please!
Kayla: Coming! Alright, 2 down 2 to go.
Ruth suddenly starts to bark and growl at a boy who was coming towards her and stands in front of her protectively.
