It has been 9 years since the Sandlot incident. Kayla and Benny were known throughout the town and were called, The Jet Couple.
The team never replaced anyone when they moved away. Finally, when it was Kayla's turn to move Benny and the rest of the team were devastated, but Benny was the saddest out of all of them. Luckily she and Benny attended the same college. Three years later after their final years, Benny proposed to her at the Sandlot and was overjoyed when she said yes.
Two years later they had 5 beautiful children who cherished and loved baseball just like they did.

Smalls: There she goes! There she goes! I don't believe it! The Queen's taking home, the Queen's taking home!! He said into the mic in disbelief and excitement as he watches his best friend take home.
"And she has done it!! Kayla Rose Elizabeth Ruth Rodriguez has done it!!" He said as she waves at him with a smile. Her husband and 5 kids come running over and he picks her up and spins her around.
He sets her down and kisses her passionately and their kids look away gagging in disgust making them laugh.
The man and woman's name were Kayla and Benny Rodriguez. In their late 20s Benny had proposed to her at the Sandlot.
They had 5 beautiful kids the oldest being 16 and the youngest being 9. Alyia who is 16, Maria who is 13, Benny Jr. who is 12, Jack who is also 12 and Marla who is 9.
Benny: I love you, Kayla Ruth. He said as he looked into her eyes.
Kayla: And I love you, Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez. She said as she looked up at him with a loving smile on her face.
Benny leans down and grabs her face and kisses her. As they kiss fireworks go off in the night sky behind them just like the first kiss they did when they were younger.
