doubts

jisung admires everything about minho. head to toe the boy believes he is perfect. the way his hair falls into his face. his eyes, which despite him loving them so much, he would avoid because the eye contact makes him nervous. his perfectly straight nose, his lips, oh his lips.. jisung has definitely caught himself staring at way too frequently and sometimes even minho catches him which doesn't help with the nervousness.
his entire body was perfect (not that he's seen every inch but he'd definitely love to) he's so smooth on his feet and his posture is perfect even when relaxed, he never looks too stiff but he never looks too nonchalant.

'god he's so pretty'

minho and jisung have definitely gotten closer recently. jisung wasn't going to lie he could definitely tell that he was way more interested in minho than minho was interested in him. he could tell, when they'd watch movies jisung would always cuddle up with minho, but minho wouldn't ever cuddle jisung back. minho would always catch jisung staring at him, completely mesmerized, but if jisung isn't directly talking to minho then minho isn't even paying any mind to jisungs existence. when jisung tries to play around or even open up he usually gets shot down. there are many reasons jisung has why minho doesn't like him as much

a time that jisungs theory was practically confirmed was the most recent time they spoke.

jisung had just gotten done at the gym and even walked home and couldn't wait to shower. he walked all the way just thinking about the one thing. once he reached the front door he unlocked it and walked in shutting the door behind himself.

he gathered all of his stuff on the kitchen table and quickly made his way up the stairs to grab his clothes and brought them to the bathroom where he had his relaxing shower.

you couldn't lie and say that jisung didn't look adorable, he had just gotten into his fresh clothes, his hoodie that was a few sizes too large for him but it was arguably perfect on him regardless, his wet hair and his clean face, completely bare absolutely no makeup on.

he had a pair of comfortable shorts that rested above his knees and his black socks that came up about half of his calves because he refused not to be wearing socks at all times, he hated the feeling of the floor against his bare feet.

minho has been sharing this space with the younger, more recently they would always find each other in each other's homes at random times of the day but it became normal to them.

so when jisung found minho sleeping on the couch he wasn't surprised, but he was a little worried. the elder has been sleeping a lot more, possibly from being so busy lately, or maybe just lack of sleep, or even just getting into the habit of taking naps during the day, but who knows.

he stepped up to the couch trying not to wake him but accidentally failed when he stubbed his toe on the coffee table and yelped

minhos eyes opened slowly revealing jisung who stood in front of him.

"sorry hyung I didn't mean to wake you up." jisung said in defeat while gripping his foot

"but since you're up, i just wanted to know if you're okay. you've been sleeping a lot recently, are you sick?"

minho rolls over onto his back and lets out a slight scoff.   "yeah, sick of you maybe."

and everything that jisung knew at the moment about their current relationship crumbled.
of course he's already had his doubts, but this just confirmed those doubts. every inch of progress he's made with minho he started to question if he even made any progress at all. has minho just been pretending?

all of the logic has slipped jisungs mind at that moment, fully letting the anxiety take over.
the logic could have told him, 'if he hated you he wouldn't be sleeping on your couch right now, he wouldn't constantly waste his time hanging out with someone who he hated' but since his logic was gone, the anxiety was speaking he instead thought of all of the times where minho acted uninterested in him. this wasn't the first time, but this was definitely the hardest time

all he could do was fake laugh at what he hopefully assumed was a joke and take the hint and just leave the elder alone, which he did.

he just walked away leaving minho to fall back asleep without a second thought, which he hated to admit but it hurts him more to think of minho not caring.

once minho heard the laugh he knew, it wasn't the cheery, smiley, jisung laugh he always loved. he mentally cursed himself for always doing this, he caught on to when jisung felt uncomfortable or anxious about something, and for some reason ever since he's learned, he's accidentally been causing it more. he hated that he could do that. he knew when his actions or his words would make jisung anxious but he didn't know how to stop or how to address it without crossing any lines.

he wanted to run after the younger and reassure him that everything was fine but he doesn't know how, and he's afraid that that's the problem.
