I tighten my tie on my school uniform. Obviously still half asleep. My alarm went off earlier than usual because I set the time on it wrong. It just kept ringing, so I decided "why not be a bit productive this morning." Maybe I'll do my makeup today. I don't usually do my makeup for school, I would if I wanted to. Or if I did have time. But unfortunately, I do not. Not to brag though - people still think I'm really pretty, even with a bare face. I guess I got all the good genetics, thank you mother and father🥰

I later changed the lip shade a bit to a light pinkish colour to make it seem a little more natural.
I left my hair as it is because I really couldn't be bothered. I brushed it though, obviously.
I put my shoes on and I walk out the door, not running this time because I'm actually early. 🤗
A small gust of wind blows my hair into my face and I attempt to fix it as it was.
"Stupid wind" I whisper to myself. And while I'm not paying attention I bump into a tall figure. "Sorry!" I quicky apologise. I look up to meet the eyes of the person I just bumped into. "Gyuvin?"
"WOAH KIM GYUVIN ARE YOU STALKING ME? WHAT ARE YOU DOING INFRONT OF MY HOUSE????" I yell with as my eyes widen.
'ME? STALKING YOU? WHAT." Gyuvin exclaims with a disgusted look on his face.
'THIS IS MY LITERAL PATH I TAKE EVRYDAY TO SCHOOL."
"HOW COME IVE NEVER SEEN U THEN. LIKE EVER?"
"PROLLY BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS GET TO CLASS 20 MINUTES LATE."
"Ok that's fair."
"HOLDDDD UPPPP. Are you wearing makeup?"
"Omg kim gyuvin actually pays attention to me :o"
"No, you just look like more of a clown today."
"Fuck you, this took my quite a long time to do."
~ time skip to school cuz im lazy ~
"WOAHHHH. Han Hwamin is actually early today. This is like the first time since middle school you've actually been here this early in the morning." Yeseo gasps.
A bit of context. My parents are actually divorced, and they live separately. I live with my mother here in Seoul, and my twin brother yujin and our father live on Jeju Island. I'm usually (always) late to school because I was a bit too reliant on my parents or my brother to wake me up and drop me off to school. But now yujin and our father don't live with us and our mother starts work really early in the morning. I know, I should have already been adapted to this change, because it has been a couple of years already (about 4 years now. My parents divorced in my last year of middle school. Now I'm a high school senior) But I guess my self-conscience just doesn't want to accept that fact. I still visit my father and yujin often though. Every second school holidays I go over to Jeju and all other times yujin comes here. Our parents are still on okay terms though, so they don't make it awkward for me and yujin. Anyways going back to the present.
"Did you and gyuvin walk to school together?" Yeseo questions
"How did you know????" I say as my and gyuvin turn to face each other.
"Ah, I could see you guys walk into the school gates together from the window here." She smiles. Yeseo is actually adorable ALL the time, ESPECIALLY when she's smiling. We're the same age but to me she's like a younger sister. I love her sm 🥰
"Makes sense."
"Take a seat, class." Our teacher comes in and announces. She does the roll and does the daily announcements/notices and the bell for period one rings. The next teacher comes in and starts teaching right away.
~ time skip to the end of the lesson ~
"Okay and that's all for this lesson. Since you all always complain when I give you homework, I'll give you an easy task this time. Your task is to get into pairs and document what each other is interested in, how they spend their school and after school hours and their personalities. How it will work is you'll be together for two whole days, one day will be one partner following the other and the next will be vice versa. At the end of those two days, you must email me your reports, or if it's on paper you can put it on my desk in the teacher's office." After taking for ages, the teacher leaves.
"Before the next teacher comes in for period two we should decide our partners before we forget about the task." Seowon, our class president tells the class.
"Hwa, I'm gonna partner up with the new japanese girl hikaru. Is that ok? cuz I probably could write a whole report on you right now even before following you for a whole day. Plus I wanna get closer with hikaru, she seems nice." Yeseo asks just for confirmation.
"Yeah that's alright babes." I smile to Yeseo
I get up and walk towards the back of the class to the antisocial looking loser still sitting at his desk avoiding eyecontact with everyone.
"Vinvin~~~ you're my partner" I say still smiling.
"No thanks, I'd rather not. Weren't you literally yelling at me this morning for being in front of your house?"
"Well, that's a different story. Plus I wasn't asking you, I was informing you 😊"
