The room felt warm and there was a fresh linen smell lingering around. The monitor could be heard echoing through the room.
Hwamin's eyes slowly fluttered open. She found herself in an unfamiliar room.
"Where am I?" She thought to herself.
She looks to her side and sees Gyuvin sleeping soundly next to her. She carefully examined his sleeping figure making sure not to wake him.
He had dried up tears on his cheeks and his eyelashes were long enough to make any girl envious. He looked tired, but not in a sleepy way, more like in a worn-out way.
She delicately moved his hair out of his face so she could see him better. His eyes open and see the girl awake. looking right at him.
"Hwa? You're awake!" He celebrated but his voice sounded hoarse.
"Did you cry? You have tears on your face." Hwamin said worriedly.
He chuckled in response.
"You've been in a coma for three weeks, and the first thing you're doing is worrying for me."
"Three weeks? I've been in a coma for three weeks?" The girl said in disbelief.
"Yeah, you have, but don't worry. The person who did this to you is in jail now. You're safe."
She nodded. Not feeling in the mood to hear about something like that right now.
As she was spacing out for a moment, she feels a pair of long slender arms wrap around her neck. Gyuvin was tearing up of happiness. He was so glad she woke up he couldn't hold back from engulfing her into his embrace.
"You don't know how much I worried about you. How much me all did." By now the boy's tears threatened to waterfall down, but he reverted it back into mere moisture as he held them in. He then felt the girl return his hug by wrapping her arms around his waist.
