Hwamin pov
We talk for a while longer but now he's getting a little too comfortable now that we've consoled each other that everything between us is okay. Not too comfortable in a weird way but like in a way he's like updating me on his whole life or something? I'm not really listening because he's just been rambling on and on about random stuff, but he told me he misses me, so I'll give him this one.
It's getting a little late now, so I interrupt Junseo before his story gets even longer.
"And then guess what happened nex-"
"Sorry, Jun, but uh I think I'm going to have to go back to my friends now, it's getting a little late and they've been waiting for a while."
"Oh, yeah, sorry. I've been talking for a while now, haven't I?"
As we were finishing up he pulls me into a hug.
Gyuvin pov
Hwa is taking an awfully long time so I go over and see if she's alright. Obviously not interrupt their conversation though because it's not really my place to butt in. It's not like I'm her boyfriend yet.
I walk over and turn the corner just to check if Hwa is alright and I feel my heart sink all the way down to my stomach.
She's hugging him?
My moth forms an 'O' shape. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding, but my mind can't help but wander off into the abyss. What if they're getting back together? No way, right? Surely they won't get back together if ALL of Hwa's friends are that mad at him for whatever reason?
I shake off the feeling of insecurity and slowly take staggered steps back to the rest of the group.
Hwamin pov
I leave Juseo's embrace and bid him goodbye, forever. This time we both acknowledge that this time we really are walking out of each other's lives. But this time with closure.
I make my way back to the group where they are surprisingly still standing there waiting for me even after the sky has dimmed down.
"You guys are still here????" I say to the group with a smile.
"Duh, obviously we wouldn't just leave you, dumb bitch." Seowon says.
"It's like, late though. I feel bad, my convo was pretty long." I say.
"Don't feel bad, While you were gone Yeseo and Woongi were literally planning a murder."
Well, glad to hear they didn't mind waiting for so long. Fricking junseo was waffling for so long.
My eyes scan over the group to find Gyuvin. I see him standing with Jeonghyeon and Ricky with Yujin. I automatically smile at him, but he turns and looks down at his phone.
What's up with that?
Gyuvin pov
She smiles at me. Showing her pearly white teeth.
Did she used to smile at him like this too?
