Hwamin pov
Flashback to four days ago
"SHIT GUYS THE DEALIE FOR THE CONTEST IS LIKE IN FIVE DAYS. WE HAVENT TAKEN ANY PICTURES." Jeong comes yelling at like 7 in the morning.
"I knew this trip was going to be unproductive with your lazy asses." Seowon sighs.
"Okay Mr.class prez, if you were so worried why didn't you remind us or something?" Yeseo says in a sassy tone.
"Lols it's not my problem anyways, I'm not in the photography club." Seowon rolls his eyes with a giggle.
"It's alright guys, we can take plenty of pictures in five days, we could even take pictures in one day then select and edit for the rest." I say as a plan. But I knew there was no way for our procrastinating asses to get this task done in five days.
Back to the present
It's been four days and it's our last day in Jeju and ALSO our last day to take photos for the contest. We spent so much time doing absolutely nothing and then planned for what we were going to do in the last minute.
"You know what? Let's just wing it." Gyu says.
"Wing it? What do you mean." Jeong asks in confusion. "We spent all this time trying to plan our photos and brainstorming, now you just want to 'wing it'?"
I can tell the idea came out of nowhere and Gyu said it because tension was high, so I decided to back him up.
"Well, winging it doesn't sound too bad you know, it's less stress."
"You're just saying that to back up your boyfriend~~~" Ricky teases while staring at his phone. When Ricky said that Gyu hid buried his face in my back in attempt to his giddy little emotions, but I could tell he was smiling like a child.
"Yeah, that's one of the reasons, I guess. BUT it really isn't bad. The theme has something to do with youth, right? Well youth is like young people who don't have a care in the world and just live life, you know? So just taking photos of us doing anything and just having fun would be completely to the theme, and the photos would look natural. " I defend.
"Hwa's right, plus it's our last day in Jeju, you guys don't want to spend it feeling stressed, right?" Yeseo adds.
"Yeah, I guess." Jeong softly says.
"How about we go down to the beach and take photos there?" Seowon suggests.
"Good idea, I'll get the equipment." Gyu says.
We make our way to the beach and it's empty, we were the only ones there.
We start playing around at the shore and slowly go a bit further.
"HOLY SHIT BRO OMG THE WATERS FREEZING." Yeseo squeals.
"Uhuh I'm not going in." Ricky whines.
"Get your princess ass in here, Ricky!" Gyu shouts playfully. After Ricky refuses a second time Jeong sneaks up behind him and gives him a fat push in.
A big fat squeal comes out of Ricky and everyone else laughs at him.
"LEE JEONGHYEON IM CANCELLING YOUR PLANE TICKET BACK TO SEOUL" says the drenched blondie.
Time went by so quickly and in no time, it was sundown. It looked beautiful. Like a campfire slowly burning out. The sky looked like a watercolour painting with warm tones colours like orange, some red and yellow, still little areas of blue and white fluffy clouds. This is a scene to remember forever.
The six of us sit on the sand with towels around us as we're still drenched in water, luckily the cameras were waterproofed because I swear, we dropped it in the water like fifty times.
The time was spent in comfortable silence, just admiring the beautiful view and reminiscing over the past few days we've spent together. We haven't even known each other for a whole year, yet they've seen me my at my highest and lowest points. We've gone through so much together. I'm grateful for every moment we spend together.
"Well, I think it's time to go back to the hotel, there's only like a couple of hours left to submit our shots." Jeong says.
"You guys go, me and Hwa will catch up." Gyu says.
"OOooooOOoo~~~~ You guys are gonna do couple-y stuff aren't youuu~~~~" Yeseo giggles and teases.
I lightly punch her on the arm and Seowon picks her up and throws her over his shoulder as she keeps staring at me and Gyu while yelling "Awwwwww~~~~" while giggling until her voice fades out as she gets further away.
"Soooooo, Kim Gyuvin, you tryna suddenly be all romantic now~" I teasingly say while turning to face him, with a big fat smile.
"Maybeee, can't I just spend quality time with my girlfriend?"
"Psh, well, it's just us two, on the beach, while watching the sunset. This is the biggest movie cliche ever."
"But isn't it a perfect scene though? Wowww a pretty backdrop with a pretty girl as the foreground subject image."
"You really are a photography nerd, tyna use your terminology as a little flirty phrase."
"It's true though."
"Kim Gyuvin you smooth talker, what are you going to do next? Try rizz me up?"
"Nooo. Woah is that yeseo over there???" I look over to where he pointed, and he suddenly grabs my chin and redirects it back to his face.
"You dumbass, you actually fell for it." He lets out his goofy ass laugh and pulls me into a hug.
"Pshh, I knew you were going to do that."
"Sure you did, you chihuahua."
"Wowww you're still calling your girlfriend a chihuahua?"
"Yup, I'll never stop~~"
