I never got your name.

Akaza POV:

"Tch. I only came back here for any remains I left behind 'cause I woke up late. I wasn't trying to come back here for you."

Such a rude assumption. Does she know the world doesn't revolve around her? I don't know. I'm just going to leave before I get even angrier.

I turned back to leave. Of course she had to speak.

"Wait! I never got your name."

"And you don't need it. I'm leaving."

I heard her scoff behind me. She wasn't going to leave easily. Just like last time. So headstrong. So annoying. Why can't she just leave me alone? Why did I have to be the person she ran into?
((Cuz I said so and ur soulmates 😊))
She ran to catch up with me. Also like last time.

"You won't just tell me your name?"

"What good would it do for you?"

"I'd know the name of the first uppermoon I met!"

"Woah, what a milestone."

I spoke sarcastically. She huffed, crossed her arms, and pouted. Childish, so very childish. You can die at a young age and become a demon but still grow maturity wise. Clearly she hadn't, but she didn't even seem that young when she died. She resembles a teen or young adult. I was tired of her expression.

It was annoying. If it meant giving her my name, I'd do so. I sighed.

"My name is Akaza. Are you happy now?"

She smiled widely as her eyes twinkled.

"Mhm! I'm Kiyaka!"

"I didn't ask."

I said harshly. She raised an eyebrow and narrowed her eyes at me and spoke.

"You're a bright one, aren't you?"

"You could put it that way."

I'm not always this way, but I figured if I acted rude then she'd want to finally leave me alone. Of course she didn't. No matter how beaten or weak she was, she just followed me with that same ecstatic mood. She was just happy no matter the circumstances. I viewed some of her wounds and noticed the severity of them.

"Are you going to heal those wounds? They seem bad."

When I said that she smirked devilishly. What was this for? Did I say something wrong? I knew after she spoke.

"Aww, look who's the one that cares now!"

She giggled. This brat!? I had an offended look on my face.

"I don't care about you! Demons don't care for anyone but themselves! I'd watch how you speak to people like me! You're lucky I'm not any other uppermoon, or they would've killed you in seconds."

She raised an eyebrow and smirked again.

"Whatever you say, but I don't think you'd get that defensive unless you were hiding the truth~"

Does she know when to quit? Does she know who she's talking to? Normally, I wouldn't allow myself to get this angry over something like this. But something about her was different and it made me even angrier.

"I'll give you just one warning. Speak again and I'll tear you apart, woman."

"My name is Kiyaka."

"I told you, I didn't ask, I didn't care. So. Stop. Talking."

There was silence for only a few seconds. She spoke again.

"But really. Why were you so defensive? It's okay, Akaza! You can be honest with your feeli-"
