Kiyaka POV:
I sat quietly for a second, thinking about that amazing lie. I wanted to break the silence again since I knew he wasn't going to. Surprisingly, I let him off easily without getting on his nerves.
"Alright. Whatever you say. How was the food?"
He sighed slightly and adjusted his position before speaking.
"Yeah, it was good. You understand that's the only reason I'm wanting you to stay, right?"
Clearly, he doesn't have these types of encounters often. He's terrible at lying. I don't feel like annoying him right now. Odd, usually at any point I'm okay with being annoying so what made this moment any different? I'm not scared of him so it's not like I'm hesitating to annoy him so I won't get hit. It feels like I don't have to force feelings or act a certain way to please or purposely upset anyone. I feel like I'm actually being myself...
Akaza POV:
I just stared at her after she took a hot second to respond. It's almost like she completely disconnected from our conversation. She got lost in something else, some other conversation, some other thoughts. I stuck my hand out in front of her face and waved it.
"Hello? Earth to Kiyaka."
Her head darted up at me immediately. Not immediately after I spoke nor when I put my hand in her face, immediately after I said her name. She looked at me with a surprised expression.
"You remembered my name?"
Isn't that obvious? I guess it just surprised her since I haven't used it yet. I wonder why it got to her so much.
"Yes? It's easy to remember your name. Pretty simple, you think?"
"Well I figured that you didn't remember it because I haven't heard you use it yet."
"That's just because I didn't want to."
There it was. The awkward silence again. In the cave were just rocks and darkness and little moonlight that would soon disappear because of the rising sun. There was practically nothing to look at and lots that could've been spoken of, but it wasn't because of their unfamiliarity with each other. Oddly enough, in these conditions, I wasn't bored. I think I was enjoying this time somehow. I wasn't paying attention to what was on my mind, I was just kind of sitting there. I hated to admit it, but I enjoyed her company. Something I haven't felt forever. Maybe never. And when I say 'never' I mean as a demon because I don't remember anything from my human life.
Third person POV:
The two of them sat there, in complete silence. They sat across from each other not even realizing half of the thoughts running through their heads nor the time or the position they were in, nothing. They both sat there, and managed to enjoy each other's company. They didn't even realize that the moon had fall and the sun was rising. The second the light shine between trees and into the cave, they both snapped out of the odd trance they were in.
Kiyaka POV:
The sun has already risen? I feel like time just passed. Doesn't matter. I'm just going to get to bed.
"I didn't realize the sun had came up. We should get rest."
He nodded his head quickly and stood.
"Yeah, your right."
"Am I out of here tomorrow?"
"Would you stop asking?"
It's a simple question. I would've figured he would have answered with a quick answer if yes. I know he cares no matter how much he denies it, but is there more I need to see?
"I was just wondering. You really seemed like you wanted me gone."
"You leave when you want. I don't care."
He walked over to another side of the cave. It was shaded and darker. That was a smart move. Instead of admitting something he didn't want to, he turned over the same thing on me knowing I wouldn't admit that I want to stay too.
I really did, and I think he might've known. I wasn't going to admit that right away, though. I was just going act like I forgot he said that tomorrow so I won't go anywhere unless he reminds me."Oh, okay."
I laid down where I was. I found myself thinking about him. My thoughts filled with him. I tried to shake them away because I know he didn't think the same about me. Plus, I haven't even thought about my actual feelings towards him yet, so I'll save them for another time. I finally found something else to think about and fell asleep.

Heyy! I'm so excited to get back into this story! Sorry if the past few chapters are boring, I'm just using this to set up what I have planned next. I also apologize for this story being so short compared to the others. They are typically in a range of 900 - 1000 words and this is at 800 so it's just a bit shorter. That's all I have to say. Bye!!
