Shouts of merriment was heard above the judgment, making Erica grumble in her sleep "dam elves and their stupid parties" she grumbled. Thorin chuckled and stroked her hair as she dozed away.

"We are never goin to get to the mountain. We don't even know what day it is!" Bofur moaned.

"Not stuck in here your not!" Bilbo whispered appearing with keys. Thorin grinned and shook Erica awake "we're getting out of here love" he said. Erica grinned and quickly stood as Bilbo shushed the cheering dwarves and unlocked everyone's cells then theirs.

"Bilbo, do you have a key for her chains?" Thorin asked quickly. Bilbo tried all of them but none worked "oh no!" He squeaked in panic.

"Dwalin! Help me!" Thorin hissed tugging the chains. The tall dwarf rushed inside the cell and helped Thorin tug the chains but it wasn't budging until Erica noticed specks of ice lining the chain and her hair lining with frosty white.

'Yue?' She asked in fear

'Dont worry it's just an extra boost kid.' Yue giggled. Erica mentally laughed "move back guys" she ordered. The three moved back slowly as she concentrated. White veins covered her arms and face and a few white streaks grew in her hair as Solid ice formed around her cuffs and chains. With a tug from Thorin and Dwalins strong grasp they shattered. She smiled reverting to her normal self and ran with them down to the cellars where the others were.

"Get into the Barrels" Bilbo whispered

"Are you mad?! They will find us!" Dwalin hissed.

"Look please you have to trust me" Bilbo begged. Everyone looked unsure until Thorin hissed "do as he says!"

The dwarves reluctantly climbed in the barrels. Erica hopped up and crawled in one and peeked out "now what?" Dwalin asked as everyone peeked their heads out "hold your breath" Bilbo said pulling a lever. The next thing Erica knew she was rolling and splashing into a river. She grasped the sides of her barrel taking a sharp intake of breath.

"Well well, who knew he'd be this clever" Bofur said cheerfully

Erica laughed at his change of mood just as bilbo dropped in. "Well done master baggins!" Thorin had praised. Bilbo gave a nod and grabbed Bofurs barell.

Thorin kept a hold if Erica's barell and began to paddle, but the current got stronger and the next thing Erica knew they were going over a few waterfalls.

She saw elves run, trying to catch them but she spotted Legolas amongst them, her supposedly elder step brother. She jerked back to reality when the gate shut on them and orcs began appearing.

She grew ice balls in her hands and threw them at the Orcs as Kili jumped up to pull the lever, but he failed to notice an Orc notch it's arrow straight for him.

Erica cried out in shock as Kili was shot in the leg. He cried out in pain and fell on his back. "Kili!" Fili yelled. Without warning Erica jumped out of her barrel, using Dwalins head as a step and leaped towards Kili. "Fili! Catch him!" She called. She rolled him over and watched he was caught by the blonde dwarf.

She pulled the lever and released the gates. The barbells went over a waterfall and down the raging river. She heard them call her name and jumped down the waterfall, using the wind to help her land safely onto the bank. She began to run across the ground, catching up to the dwarfs but out of no where a cold hand grabbed her by the throat and slammed her to the ground. She cried out in pain and sat up but she was shoved back down by a foot. She looked up into the eyes of Azog. She squirmed under his hold "no where to run little runt" he spoke raising his sword.

"You leave her!"

A blonde mass knocked the Orc off his feet and into the bushes. A hand pulled Erica up and she was shocked to be looking in the eyes of Legolas, supposedly her older brother.

"An...Erica, are you alright?" He asked gently. She could only nod "thanks..." She said in shock. He smiled and patted her shoulder. He ran towards the action with Erica following him. He leapt onto the dwarves heads, shooting at the orcs. Erica giggled when she heard Dwalin growling at Legolas.

She kept up with the company, avoiding the orcs and elves in her path until she saw one Orc with an arrow notched to her brothers back. She felt no need to be angry at him so she leaped at the Orc with a roar and froze him. She sighed and stood and looked at Legolas who made eye contact with her. He nodded in respect and continued to kill the Orcs in his way.

"Erica!"

She looked at the dwarves who yelled her name but Without warning she was shoved into the raging river by an Orc. Shooting up she gasped for air and struggled to keep her head up above the water. She felt a hand grab her by the scruff of her shirt and pull her up. She grabbed onto the barrel and saw that it was Dwalin that pulled her up. He pulled her Into the barrel and made sure she stayed down. She held onto his leg and shut her eyes tightly.

Soon the bumping stopped and she sighed.

They were safe.
