When Erica regained consciousness, her vision was filled with white. She froze and found she couldn't move. She realised she was handing upside down in a sticky substance. The lack of air was making her I'll again. She spotted the spiders circling her and other cocoons and began to struggle.
She suddenly was cut down and fell with the others. When she fell on her back she was released by Thorin and gasped as the feeling to breath returned to her "are you alright?" He asked quickly
"Yeah" she breathed standing up as spiders began to flock around them. They battled it out, killing as many spiders as they could. Suddenly a blurred figure rushed through and killed a spider that was heading for. Erica. The next thing she knew there was an arrow notched in front of Thorins face by a blonde elf with bright blue eyes

"Don't think I won't kill you dwarf it will be my pleasure" the elf spat. More appeared and drew their arrows.
"Search them" the blonde elf ordered. An elf reached out to search Erica but Thorin stood in front of her "keep your filthy hands off her" he growled. The blonde elf cocked his head to the side "well well, dwarves can love, how nice" he sneered.
He was pushed out the way and Erica's swords were taken from her. The elf that searched her noticed her moon stone pendant glimmer and his eyes widened. He called to the leading elf in elvish and showed him. The blonde elf grasped the stone then looked at Erica with wide eyes.
"Impossible....take her to the palace" he mumbled to him. The elf nodded and took Erica gently by the arm and led her away.
"Leave her be!" Dwalin growled struggling
"Keep your mitts off her!" Bofur called. They were silenced as they were pushed forward.
"Thorin! Where's Bilbo!?" Bofur whispered. Thorin looked around and indeed the burglar was no where in sight. There may be hope for them yet....
(Erica pov)
I was taken ahead of the group but didn't struggle. If I did it would get much worse. I was led to a beautiful palace. Even the inside was really naturey with the waterfalls and lush trees.
"This way my lady" the elf spoke softly.
My lady? He's being nice isn't he?
I was lead to a large room and before me was a throne. A man sat on it wearing a crown of twigs and berries. He had long light blonde hair and pale skin and blue eyes. I knew immediately who he was. Thranduil. King of Mirkwood... He looked at me with curiosity "she was with these dwarves?" He asked
"Yes my lord, but that is not why I brought her first" the elf spoke beckoning him forward. Thranduil rose an eyebrow and stood from his throne. He walked down the steps and stood in front of me. The shine from my pendant caught his eye and he picked it up between his fingers. His eyes widened and peered at me closely. I shrunk back from him but he caught my arm with a gentle grip. His eyes softened "Annika?" He questioned.
I shook my head "n-no, Erica" I whispered shakingly. He frowned "you do not know anything do you?" He asked
"A-about what?" I asked.
"About your family...your real family" he spoke softly. I moved away from him "what do you know? You've never known me" I protested. He smiled sadly "actually I did my dear. I saw you before you were sent away from me....after your mother died" he whispered.
I began to feel scared and more confused....but I had to know...
"You knew my mother?" I asked. He nodded "yes...and I loved her very much" he said.
My heart began beating faster as he brushed a strand of hair from my face "you are my kin my dear girl. My daughter"
