(y/n)'s POV:

It was now the weekend and I was currently sitting in the library. While I was trying to get my homework done, Cupid was busy doodling in her notebook.

"Cupid and Dexter Charming," she sighed happily. I leaned over to see her notebook filled with drawings of Dexter in pink ink.

"You might have an obsession," I joke, drawing a cat on the page in my own (f/c) ink.

"Cupie and Dexy!" she says again, completely ignoring me. I sigh, going back to my work silently.

Suddenly, a large pile of dusty books drops onto the table in front of Cupid and me. I cough at the cloud of dust before looking up to see Dexter himself standing there. Cupid jumped in her seat, slightly flustered from the unexpected appearance of her crush.

"Hey Cupid, (y/n)," Dexter greets while he fixes his glasses.

"Hey Dex," I give him a warm smile,

"Is anyone else sitting here?" he asks the both of us.

"Yes," Cupid said dreamily before realizing her mistake, "I mean know!" I just laugh at her mistake. "No one else is sitting here, and yes, you should sit there," she stumbles over her words. I lay my head on the table, resting it on my arms.

"Thanks," Dexter said as he sat down, only to be shushed by the librarians.

"The evil step-librarians are so wicked," Cupid whispered to us, leaning toward Dexter. I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, last week they made me re-catalog the entire forbidden-book section," Dexter shuddered at the memory.

"So that's why Kitty kept playing with the library cards," I pondered.

"She did what?" Dexter raised an eyebrow. Both Cupid and I laughed.

"No talking in the library!" one of the evil step-librarians pounded her fist on the desk making me jump.

"Well, look what I found," Dexter changed the subject by holding up an old book. The cover with brown leather with gold trim. In the center was a golden tree with a pink heart made from a gem in the center. Cupid gasps before grabbing the book from Dexter.

"The History of True Hearts Day!" her eyes sparkle with delight. "Thanks, Dex! You are such a sweet-" Cupid is cut off by the librarians slamming a ruler on our table. "We have to show this to the headmaster!" Cupid says once the librarians leave.

"I don't know, he may not like that after what happened on Legacy Day," I thought out loud.

"Nonsense! Come on you two," Cupid said as she ushered us out of the library and to Headmaster Grimm's office.

"Headmaster!" Cupid shouted as she slammed the book onto his desk. I quickly rushed into the room behind her while the headmaster brushed some toys into his desk.

"My dear, I am trying to write my speech for-" Cupid cuts Headmaster Grimm off.

"Love never waits!" she has a large smile on her face.

"What are you going on about?" I can tell that the Headmaster is losing his cool.

"True Hearts Day!" Cupid clutches her hands to her heart.

"Where -ahem- did you find that?" Headmaster Grimm says with a slightly scared tone. Cupid ignores his question and takes the book back, flipping through its contents.

"It tells all about this hexcellent holiday that encourages everyone to follow their true heart's desire, but it hasn't been spellabrated in years," Cupid looks at the book sadly.

"And never will be again!" Headmaster Grimm stands abruptly, causing me to take a step back. "That holiday is dangerous."

"How can a holiday be dangerous?" I butt in since Cupid looks like she's going to cry.

"Some students might see it as a sign to break from their destinies," the headmaster turns toward the windows.

"Maybe True Hearts Day is..." while Cupid thinks, the headmaster attempts to take the book. I take the book from her before he can, wrapping my arms around it.

"Ahem," Headmaster Grimm brings attention back to himself, "You are not to talk about this to anyone. Do you understand me?"

"Yes, sir. I won't say a thing," Cupid reluctantly agrees. I simply glare at the ground and stay silent.

After leaving Headmaster Grimm's office, Cupid and I made our way to the auditorium to look for Briar. When we found her, Cupid hurriedly showed her the book Dexter had found.

"True Hearts Day?" Briar asked. Cupid nodded in response. "I don't get it," Briar had a look of confusion. Cupid sighed while I crossed my arms in frustration. She then gasps and begins to play charades.

"Oh this will be interesting," I laugh as I sit down next to Briar.

"Forty-eight words," Briar begins. "A holiday that used to be spellabrated in the fairy tale world that encourages us to follow our true heart's desire but Headmaster Grimm doesn't want anyone to know about it, but you think we should spellabrate it anyway and throw a secret underground True Hearts Day dance?"

"That was hexcellent!" I exclaim as I give Briar a side hug.

"Why didn't you just say that?" Briar then asks as Cupid sits on her other side.

"Cause Headmaster Grimm told us not to say anything," Cupid admits with a shy smile. I nod my head in agreement.

"Secret dance? What if Grimm catches us?" Briar takes a moment to think about the idea.

"He won't. Come on! It'll be happily ever awesome!" Cupid continues to try and convince Briar.

"I do throw the most hexcellent parties," Briar says.

"You do~" I join in on Cupid's persuasion.

"Yay! We're having a secret True Hearts Day dance!" Cupid shouts for the entire auditorium to hear.

"Oh my fairy godmother Cupid, keep it down!" I whisper yell at her. Briar also shushes her.

"You might not want to shout that. You know, being a secret and all," Briar pulls Cupid back from the edge of the balcony. The three of us then leave the auditorium, excited to start party planning.

This story will probably end after the first season of EAH, so it's coming up soon. Don't worry though, I have multiple other story ideas for EAH, Security Breach, and Marvel.
