Journeying Home: The Patient Navigator

In the midst of the chaos and rush,
He held my hand, a gentle touch.
I was drained, tired to the bone,
But he stayed with me, not leaving me alone.

The night was long, the road dark and winding,
But he stayed by my side, never complaining.
We walked together, step by step,
He never once faltered, no matter the depth.

He listened to my stories, my worries and fears,
His patience unending, his kindness so clear.
He made me feel safe, even in the unknown,
This man who brought me all the way back home.

As we arrived, tired and spent,
He gave me a hug, a warm kiss.
I looked up and saw his loving face,
And felt grateful for his unwavering grace.

He didn't expect much, just my company and smile,
But in his patience and gentleness, he went the extra mile.
He was a man that I could trust and depend,
My patient navigator, my constant friend.
