As raindrops fall from above,
My sad heart never rests,
Longing for your presence,
For the love you gave, the very best.I write this piece seeking true peace,
If only you were here,
Life would be a bit easier,
Your absence, still so clear. You left when I was just a girl,
Yet, you were here before,
Annoying me with a playful whirl,
Wagging your cute tail galore.Where you are, it might be peaceful,
While I'm here, still feeling sinful,
How could I forget you, my friend?
When will I hold you close again?
